The city is back under control, all the survivors are currently being helped and the dead are currently being buried. The priest is calling for a meeting on what to do about their situation in the church. The local governor and the navy admiral of the port both agree to meet there, raven and jack are invited as well, and the priest, against his better judgement tells carl he can attend but he must behave. Carl agrees and turns to Jack.

Just remember mate, if they bring up anything about the navy ships blowing up, to shift blame on those other men. The local governor might be willing to deal with a pirate like you to kill a more heartless pirate, but if he finds out what you did you might wind up on the noose next.

The golem just sort of idles around following jack. A lot of local children come by looking at it, some of the braver ones even climb it. The golem just idles and lets them.

Carl nods as he goes into the church. He heads to the back into a room where at a table the local governor, admiral and the priest are all sat. He takes a seat as the rest wait for Jack and Raven to show up. The locals outside decide to start cleaning up and repairing the port. A few navy sailors keep an eye out for any ships.

The governor gets right to the point.

This Gale person needs to be found and killed. He seems intent on total destruction and death, and that can not be allowed to happen. So, I am prepared to make a deal. My admiral here will set out with what ships remain to try to hunt him down, and you jack, will be pardoned for your crimes here if you agree to help hunt and kill him. I know your the one who blew up the navy ships. I have witnesses and testimonies that indicate your the one to blame. And for you sir Raven, if you also agree to hunt them down, I can reward you for it. And for you Carl, I want you to hunt him down as well.

The admiral cuts in.

But he's a bloody madman.

The governor nods.

Which is why id prefer to send him away then keep him.

The governor laughs.

If I knew where to start I wouldn't bother pardoning you or asking for help. I'm sure you have friends and connections to help track a person down. I plan to have my admiral go to neighboring ports and ask other governors and navies if they heard or know of gale. You can go and see if any pirates or other individuals you know of have any info on him.

Jack stands up.

That's going to be a problem, I've never heard of him before, nor has anyone else. Guess I'll have to check admiralty records.

The admiral stands up as well.

Mate, you don't have permission to go and check the local records. And how do you know that no one knows who he is without asking them? Do you think that every person you meet will just tell you all the people they know for no reason? For all you know maybe your wife met him while he was at another port. Or an old friend of yours ran into him while sailing. If he is starting to do major crimes like torching ports, if you start asking around you should start finding hints as to where hes going. Ill have a few men check the local records, And ill be heading to other ports to check with their records and leaders as well. You should be focusing on getting info from your fellow pirates and friends. I won't have much luck in getting a pirate to talk to me, just like you wouldn't have much luck getting a navy officer to talk to you.
