A ship docked, and about fifty men got off the ship, then the ship quickly sailed in to the ocean. The men had the symbol of a dragon on the armor, and they are lead by Raven and his seven guards, these men started to move toward the mortar, spread out in small groups to avoid getting all killed in one hit

The mortar is too busy trying to focus their hits on the golem, damaging it, but its very durable and keep marching towards them. A handful of men try to throw ropes around it and tie it down but it powers through. Carl nods to jack telling him your welcome as he rushes off towards the men at the mortar. The priest gathers what help he can and begins digging through the various rubble looking for any survivors to help. Some of the men at the mortar begin loading muskets and prepare to fight.

Near the back of the town, around 300 of Jack's crew come around, they come out of taverns, brothels, and churches, disturbed by the mortars. Upon seeing jack, they rush up to him, looking around in disbelief. Jack steps forward, his held held high, he speaks in a commanding tone.

Lads, it appears our plans here have been somewhat destroyed, so you see that mortar? We need that gone, so we are going to go and butcher the men operating it, if you see the captain, don't fire at him I need in a group. Fetch your muskets and fan out.

Jack's pirates go and grab their muskets, which are conveniently hidden. They then go up to the mortars, and begin to fire alternating volleys.

Raven's men charge up to the mortar, his men lobbing grenades then firing muskets, Raven draws his poleaxe, and damages the mortar for it to be hard to balance, causing several inaccurate shots

their captain isn't in the port. The quartermaster said their captain Gale took the bulk of their fleet elsewhere while he was put in charge of a group to deal with you.

The quartermaster is running from the golem, which is chasing him down. He quickly ducks behind one of the mortars, as the golem smashes it as it shoots off a shell, hitting the nearby gunpowder and blasting the bulk of the men and mortars to pieces. The few men remaining are hurt, and know they lost, but they grab their bayonets and do a final charge towards Jack and his men, though the quartermaster turns and runs, throwing several smoke grenades as he slips away. The golem unable to find him turns to the men making a last charge and rushes after them.

Raven’s men attack the remaining enemies from the flank, and Raven kills several enemies with his poleaxes.

Carl looks around. He notices some tracks heading to the north. The golem stands near jack waiting for new orders, and Carl shouts to the others.

Looks like he's heading north, lets go hunt this coward down and take him to the old hanging tree. After we beat some answers outta him.
