Jack laughs at the fight taking place.

I can wait, just hurry up.

jack you realize these men said they planned to kill you and frame carl for your murder right? kinda surprised your not angry at them for that.

I used him as an unnamed soldier in the last one

Hes not pissed, he'll let carl do the work, and if carl dies he'll kill them. Also why are they doing this? This doesn't make sense.

[Meliva]

well for starters they are not thinking clearly. Due to the head injuries and their rage at carl. They also didn't like jack scowling at them and decided they would just kill you, kill the sword man and carl, rob the bodies and blame everything on carl. Again these men are not thinking very clearly-a concussion and rage will do that to ya.

The man who is now blind shouts to the others, they unlock the door and let in the 2 guys they left outside. He shouts for them to help them kill these 2. The men see Jack as the bigger threat-they doubt he's gonna let them live after what they said so 4 of them begin surrounding him while the blind man sits down and begins trying to take the objects out of his eyes. 2 others go to start beating carl to death, but he just keeps laughing like made as he gets hit and hits them back. One shouts at him yelling for him to just die already.

[Jack Teach]

Jack socka one in the jaw, causing him to fall down and crack open his head. Jack dodges a punch from one of the other men, and punches him in the jaw, and then knees him, causing him to fall over. The last man attacks him, jack disposes him by savagely tacklelimg him and beating his face in, not killing him, but seriously damaging him, blood on Jack's hands.

The 2 remaining men decide this isn't worth it, and run, while the blind man tries to get up and run out, carl grabs him and snaps his neck, and tosses his body down and spits on it as he mumbles coward. He turns to Jack. Carl is not looking good despite his smile he has suffered several bullet wounds and quite a few punches. He smiles as he prepares to fight until he hears the noon bells go off. He curses very loudly as he turns to Jack. He says with a bit of a frown

Ordinarily id wipe the floor with you right here, but I got somewhere I need to be, so you luck out this time. So time for my great escape.

Carl rushes to the window, jumps into it but due to his wounds he lacks the momentum, it breaks but he doesn't go through, and just lands back on the floor even more hurt. He gets up, notices another window was open and jumps over it, the fall would have killed him, but luckily(or unluckily depending on your pov) he ends up landing in a manure pit. He gets up and begins laughing as he quickly begins hobbling down the street to the church. Shouting to the town laughing like a mad man.

And captain carl is still undefeated.

The locals just shake their heads and go about their business. The bartender comes up and asks jack.

The hell happened, where did carl go.

He just jumped out of a window.

Jack walks back into the main bar.

Dunno, cowardly son of a whore ran away, any idea where he is?

One of the people who just entered the tavern calls out.

I saw him heading to the church. You could catch up to him if you want.

The barkeep just sort of nods.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind if you went and beat him. But honestly I wouldn't call him a coward. an insane idiot definitely, but not many men pick fights with whole bars and rush into gun fire. Though I don't think its due to him being brave, I think hes just too dumb and insane to know fear. Wonder why hes heading to church though.
