As the group enters the tower, the door seals shut behind them and a deep booming voice calls out.

Intruders, how dare you enter this tower. I will make sure you don't leave here alive.

Solberg recognizes the voice and shouts.

Timo its me solberg, im just here to get some items out.

The voice laughs.

Solberg died 500 years ago, I'm not a fool. If you really are Solberg, then what was the name of your first cat.

Solberg shouts out.

Cheese balls.

The voice is stunned, and just replies.

Oh, it really is you. Fine defenses are down, all your stuff is where you left it, top floor.

Solberg says to the group quietly.

That was close. I'm surprised Timo is still here.

The group heads up the stairs going past each floor until the top. On a pedestal nearby is a giant tortoise and on the wall is a glowing long sword and polearm. The tortoise looks at the group and says to them.

Your not Solberg.

The skull says to the tortoise.

Timo, I'm Solberg, was brought back as a skull and I need to help these folks out to rest in piece. Everyone this was my familiar Timo. I left him in charge of the tower to defend it, but I didn't think he would still be around.

Timo nods.

I would be dead if I hadn't been using the magic in this tower to extend my life. But if Solberg wants you all to have the weapons take them.

Solberg looks to Timo.

I'm placing this young lady named Emily as the new owner of the tower is she wants it. I have no need for it any longer.

Emily shrieks yes and kisses the skull on the forehead before spitting.

Thanks now I won't need to build my own. Gonna need to wipe out those creatures though and make up new defenses. Anyway raven and Jack grab your weapons and get ready to head out.

Jack takes the long sword, which upon touching his fingers, transforms into a beautifully crafted cutlass, it has a shell guard, it is engraved with mermaids, swimming around a skull and crossbones. The carvings look as if they're gold and blue, the pommel is a red ruby, the cutlass glad is long, and shimmers. Jack takes out his old cutlass, and hands it to one of his men. Jack puts the sword into his scabbard, it fits perfectly. As soon as the sword is fully inside the scabbard, there is a crash of thunder, and lightning strikes outside. Jack crosses himself.

Raven grabs the poleaxes, and swings it around to test its weight in his hand, and he finds it quite stable

Several more lightning strikes are heard, and the earth shakes. A bright light engulfs the room blinding everyone. When the light fades Solberg's skull is gone. His voice is heard one last time however.

Thank you all so much I'm glad I'm finally at rest. Enjoy the tower Emily, Jack enjoy your sword, raven enjoy the poleaxe, and Ellen enjoy the things I taught you. May the lord bless you all on your future journeys.

Brian looks around before speaking.

kinda feel ripped that i didn't get anything, but im happy that Ellen and Emily got something at least. And they both matter much more then me anyway.

Emily turns to the others

About time to leave I guess you all ready.

Timo speaks.

All the creatures will be waiting to attack you when you do. A sort of last ditch defense this tower has. But with your new weapons it shouldn't be hard. The golems can help as well.

Jack draws his sword, looking at the gleaming blade.

Let's go test these things, I'm curious to see what it does...

Ellen nods.

Well we have some overgrown lizards waiting for us on the other side of the bridge.

Ellen exits the tower, with Brian and Emily close behind. Emily however grabs Ellen and whispers to her. The 2 head back into the tower. She turns to Jack, Raven and Brian.

Us sisters need to have a quick little chat, you all and your men can go on ahead, we will catch up in a bit.

Brian hesitates, but ultimately turns and heads out as ordered.
