Emily shrugs.

Good thing me and Ellen have our own ship then.

Solberg says to Jack

Oy mate, not a thing, I'm Solberg. Or Sol for short so show a little respect. I mean do you think I WANT to be a bloody talking skull. Like I said that crazy woman dug up my corpse-which had been buried in a crypt for a solid 500 years, took my head and put my soul back into my skull. Do you know what all I can do as a talking skull. Talk, and that's it, so I'm not exactly happy with my current situation either. Worst part is, if my skull gets shattered my soul dies with it. Not sure where it ends up when that happens, but I doubt anywhere good. If you lot find a way to send my soul back to the afterlife, ill reward you all with some knowledge that could be helpful.

Solberg laughs.

I appreciate the offer. Thankfully my skull is enchanted to be pretty durable. Would take a heavy blow with a blessed weapon to shatter it. Or just a lot of repeated blows with a normal weapon. So as long as you don't do something crazy like toss me at your enemies, or decide to shatter me yourself I should be safe. But ill take the helm anyway, better safe then sorry.

Jack looks to the skull.

Damn you, be quiet.

Jack turns to Ellen

Now, lets get out of here, we've no reason to stay.

Jack walks out of the cave.

The skull replies to Jack.

Why don't you come over and make me little boy.

Ellen rolls her eyes.

Both of you just cut it out. Jack's right though, we finished our job here. Time to head out.

Ellen, Emily and Brian begin heading back out the cave towards Salipsa's tower. Along the way Brian decides to make small talk.

Gotta ask Solberg, where exactly was your soul when she brought you back into that skull. Were you in hell, or what.

Solberg replies rather angrily.

No, I was not. Despite me being a sorcerer, I dedicated most of my life to hunting and killing demons. I even made a holy weapon with help from a priest, a real strong sword that could cut through most demons like they were butter. But, I wasn't a purely good man. Did some sins and such so I wound up in Purgatory to atone before going to heaven. And that wretched woman, brought me back RIGHT when I was about to finish and go to heaven. 500 years in purgatory atoning waiting for those glorious gates and now I gotta wait longer. So the sooner you send me back the sooner I get to heaven.

Jack frowns

You must have left to ask somebody to pray for your release, as I'm pretty sure a soul can't be PULLED from purgatory, and after said leaving, somehow you were bound to this world. Never heard of that before. I can help you by the way.

Solberg laughs.

Thanks but i know how to get my soul back to where it belongs. I was a pretty good sorcerer and even spent quite a few years studying holy rituals and the like. You know i even fought in the crusades? Regardless i recall a pretty strong holy ritual used to send wayward spirits back to where they belong. I just couldnt perform it due to the fact i am just a talking skull.

And you know, now that you mention it, perhaps the lord himself willed me to come back. I never told anyone where i hid that demon slaying sword, and perhaps the lord wanted me to come back to tell someone where it is so they can use it. But regardless i think the nun here can perform the holy ritual, and in return ill tell you where its at. That sound good to all of you?

Ellen nods. Though she does think.

Though which of us should get to use the sword. I'm fine with my Morningstar. Its blessed already, so its pretty effective against demons as it is so I'm good.

Brian holds the magic rapier and cutlass.

I'm fine too. I say let either Jack or Raven get it.

Emily nods.

I prefer using my knife anyway. A sword would be too heavy and restrictive for my fighting style.

Well...not to brag but I got a few years of experience with a sword, what type of sword to be exact?

Solberg laughs.

Well, when we were making it, we couldn't decide what kind of sword it should be, we figured out a way to make it can change its type to most swords. Longsword, broadsword, great-sword, claymore, rapier, cutlass. But I notice you have polearms, I actually hid a pretty good one near the sword, was called Smite, though it was made to kill giants, not demons. But it still can hurt them, just not as good as the sword. Jack can take the sword if he wants it, and you can have the polearm.
