Role-Play- A Step Forward

[Jack Teach]

Jack fires his musket, then throwing it down, he pulls out two pistols and fired them, killing two imps. He then uses his remaining pistols and cutlasses to cut down everything down in his path, slashing, stabbing and shooting as he moves closer to the woman sitting at the back.

[D00T]

Raven's sword soon breaks from the fire, and he draws his poleaxe, and brings it down toward the demon, sinking into its back

Ellen gets grabbed by a couple imps who got past Emily and Brain, the demon takes advantage and punches her straight into Jack. She quickly gets up and helps Jack to his feet. She tries to rush back to continue fighting the demon, but after a few steps she ends up on her knees, coughing up a bit of blood. She takes a potion and quickly drinks it, though it will take a minute to heal her wounds. Brian and Emily quickly rush to her, and stand ready to defend her from the imps. The demon quickly rushes past her and stands between Jack and Linda. The demon looks a bit injured, having taken a few hits from Ellen. Ellen calls to Jack.

Make sure he doesn't land a hit. You have seen how strong he is. Ill be ready to continue fighting in a bit.

Only a few imps remain, though a couple begin rushing to a nearby pen, with more beasts in it. Emily shouts to Raven.

Don't let them open that pen, we are having enough trouble already.

Raven dashes forward, and slices the imp in half

[Jack Teach]

Jack pulls the crucifix and brandished it before the demon, it shrinks back, jack touches it with the crucifix, it shrieks in agony and bursts into fire. Jack then rushes forward and kills the remaining imps.

[Meliva]

Ellen regains enough strength to stand. She turns to Linda, who is still just sitting at a desk looking at papers. She goes over to her and grabs her. Though when Ellen see's her face she looks a bit shocked. Linda's eyes are blank, almost like a doll. Ellen grips her morning star as she begins to talk to her.

You are Linda, correct.

The woman just looks at Ellen, and slowly responds.

Yes, yes I am Linda. I have work to do, leave me be.

Emily turns to the others.

I think her mind is fried. That can happen when you go practicing dangerous magic without taking proper precautions. She's more or less like a mindless automaton, summoning more demons and creating more worgs with no real clue as to why shes doing it.

Brian turns to the sisters.

So, should we kill her, or what.

Emily shakes her head.

I say we tie her up, drag her to Salipsa and see if she can pry some info outta her head. I'm gonna start looking through this mess. The rest of you patch yourselves up.

[D00T]

Raven rips his poleaxe from an imp's corpse

[Jack Teach]

Jack reloads his weapons, and puts his sword away. He left looks around

What're you going to do with all this stuff?

[Meliva]

Emily nods to Linda as Ellen ties her up.

Certainly not what she did that's for damn sure. Honestly most of this stuff, I will probably destroy and try to salvage the remains for something else. I am a huge fan of voodoo and magic, but I'm not particularly fond of magic involving demons, though I do study and research it just in case. But it also depends on what I find.

After about an hour Emily has sorted through nearly all of the items. Most is in a pile she labelled destroy, a few in a pile keep. The last item is a red skull. As she looks at it, it actually shouts to everyone.

Hoy, glad to meet you. Been stuck with Linda for a while now, crazy woman went and ended up frying her brain.

Brian jumps in suprise.

How is that skull talking?

The skull laughs.

Magic ya idiot. I used ta be a fairly strong sorcerer named Solberg, then I eventually got old and died. Old Linda dug up my grave, and took my skull so she could pick my brain-figuratively speaking.

Emily smiles.

Well, Solberg, ill be having you come with me. I'm sure we will get along splendidly. Anyway I'm done sorting through all this. I packed everything away and we can head back to Salipsa.

Emily dons her backpack, full of items, and begins heading back to Salipsa's tower. Ellen and Brian follow.

[Jack Teach]

Jack points at the skull with a shocked look on his face.

That thing, is NOT going on my ship.
