Jack pulls the sword from the king's throat. Jack steps down on one knee and prays. He then gets up and walks out down the stairs. He raise his cutlass up in the air, grinning .

Many people cheer, even some of the English. Adam turns to Michael.

So, with Kitani dead, I believe the next heir would be his son, but as he isn't an adult, his sister will become regent until then. Where is she anyway.

Michael points north.

Currently residing in an abbey up north. Ill send a message to her with the news.

Ellen and Emily enter the castle, Emily quickly begins going through the castle examining it quite intently. Ellen just shrugs and goes to the young prince.

I'm sorry this had to happen. Hopefully you will learn from this that ruling as a tyrant and being cruel doesn't end well.

The boy nods as he retires to his room. Ellen turns to Jack.

Well you got your revenge and a tyrant is dead. All in all a pretty goods days work.

She reaches out her hand and smiles.

Thanks for that. I am in need of some money to pay some men I hired on earlier. I forgot his name...

We lost quite some men in the battle, might take time to hire more for the ships.

Michael comes up and hands Jack a sack of gold.

Consider this payment for killing Kitani. The royal treasury won't miss it. Kitani has been hoarding tons of stuff for some time now. I think he was planning on hiring a bunch of mercs or something, don't know why else he was hoarding so much gold. Almost every coin we collected in taxes went straight to his treasury.

Emily comes up to Michael and asks in a sweet voice with a pretty smile.

Do you mind if I look through the treasury.

Michael shakes his head no.

Sorry. No can do.

Emily rubs her mouth as if thinking, before smiling again and blowing a slight mist towards Michael. He looks dazed for a second as Emily quickly asks again.

Michael just nods and starts to walk off. Ellen grabs Emily. Though the younger just responds.

Just want to see what's in there. I have a bit of a bad feeling.

Ellen shrugs.

Fine. Don't get into trouble though okay. I wont always be around to bail you out.

Ellen turns to Jack and just laughs.

I swear family can be so tiring at times.

Aye, it is. We should probably follow Emily to make sure she's not in any trouble...

The group follows after Emily who is currently looking through some very boxes and chests in a corner of the treasury. She shouts to Ellen.

You know I had a suspicion that there was some voodoo items hidden here, and I was right. Some voodoo dust, voodoo charms, books, puppets, potions, and a lot of letters. Seems like Kitani wasn't just hoarding gold, looks like he was trying to get a bunch of voodoo magic also. These letters are from suppliers of his by the looks of it. Hey sis, if we hunt this person down, we could potentially rake in a boatload of voodoo items. Ooh, just the thought of it gives me tingles.

Ellen frowns.

Why was he hoarding so much gold and voodoo though. Just what was he planning to do with it all.

Emily shouts happily.

Who cares, I say we all take some gold for the road. I'm definitely taking all this voodoo.

Emily shouts to Brian to get a cart to begin loading it all up. She begins looking through the jewerly as she giggles to herself. Ellen just shakes her head and leaves.

Do whatever you want. I need to think.

Jack has his men to carry out a large sum of treasure, jack even pays money to the Irish and any French who helped him, he leaves more than enough to keep the country going however. He paces around, thinking about the massive amount of voodoo that was stored.

Kitani doesn’t strike me as a voodoo person, why would he keep so many voodoo materials?

Emily has all the voodoo items loaded into a nearby hut. She says to Jack and Raven.

Don't know. Might help once we know what kind of voodoo he had in particular.

Brian shrugs.

Cant you tell by looking at it.

Emily laughs.

Of course not. gotta study it a bit. Voodoo rarely can be identified just by a single look. Ill be spending all night looking this stuff over. Tomorrow ill tell you what I find out.

Emily giggles as she leaves.

Oh the secrets I might find.

Ellen sighs.

We should all get some rest. tomorrow we can make decide what to do next. The biggest threat is gone for now. the voodoo can be dealt with later.
