So, you finish what you came here to do. Governor's dead from what my little scout told me. Happy about that, though I'm rather upset that poor Brian ended up going through what he did. But he's a tough guy, think the fact he failed his job hurt him more then what the governor's men did.

The governor's dead? When and how did that happen? He was very well protected. There must be a good 50 guards at his mansion. I don't recall hearing of a massive fight.

Brian will be ok. I suspect that the job he was sent here to do will be taken care of. In the eyes of many of the citizens here, Brian is the face of those that stood up and fought the governor's thieves, he would have been protected by the citizenry. That and I heard rumor of an anonymous donor buying a large parcel of land for a new orphanage to be built.

Well that will make him happy. Make Ellen even happier, honestly I think governor got lucky someone else got to him before Brian came back with Ellen and Emily. Those 2 sisters can be awful cruel when it comes to getting revenge. Did you ever hear about what happened to the last governor of Tortuga?
