Role-Play- A Step Forward

[Meliva]

One of the men, a very badly looking young man who looks like he's seen better days takes a good look at Jack and says to him in a bit of a surprised voice.

Jack is that you? I don't know if you remember me, but I'm Brian, one of Sister Ellen's friends. I think we met back in Regis. I was just looking for her to give her a report, I didn't know whose fleet this was, so I panicked. Please tell me you know where Ellen is. I have had the worst bleeding luck lately.

[Jack Teach]

jack has the men lower their guns.

I don't know where she is, she could be anywhere. I didn't see her port, so I assume she's sailing somewhere. Sorry bout your ship, I thought you might be something more nefarious...

[Meliva]

Brian laughs.

Well ain't my ship honestly, I just stole it back in Thorakas when I was escaping from their jail. Like I said have not had much luck.

The Panselo Pride Corvette begins approaching as it signals to Jack Ellen is here. Brian smiles.

Finally some good luck.

Ellen and Emily quickly boards, and are rather shocked to see Brian, who quickly hugs both of them. They see how badly hurt he is. Ellen speaks first.

Good lord Brian what happened to you.

Emily looks upset.

Yeah, who do I gotta slice up for this.

Brian looks sad and ashamed.

I couldn't get an orphanage set up in Thorakas, I'm sorry. Ill tell you all about it later.

The 2 sisters comfort him and have him taken aboard their ship. Ellen speaks to Jack as Emily goes with Brian

Good to see you again Jack. Adam told me the plan.

[Jack Teach]

Jack nods.

Excellent. What is it?

Ellen looks confused.
Um Jack, he already told you it. We are sailing to go near England, then after waiting for a week for them to deploy most of their forces to France we will hit them. Regardless I need to go and make sure Brian is taken care of.

The men who were with Brian ask if they can join with the Corvette. Ellen shrugs and says sure. As she starts to leave, she turns to Jack.

We got several days before we reach English waters, and Adam is having a really nice dinner to celebrate on his man of war tonight, and he wanted me to invite you. Captain's only, though you are free to bring a +1 if you wish.

[Jack Teach]

Jack nods.

I'll come. Oh by the way, I thought you were going to give me a more detailed version of the plan, that's why I asked. Good to see you again.

[Meliva]

Ellen shakes her head.

Rather hard to come up with a detailed plan until we know more. Once we get near England we can do some scouting and recon and then make a detailed plan. Regardless I will see you at dinner.

A few hours pass as in a nice room on the Righteous Queen dinner is laid out on a nice table, Various meats, vegetables, fruits and wines are laid out, along with plenty of desserts being made. Adam sits at the table in a nice suit, Ellen and Emily both sit next to him, Ellen in her nun attire Emily in a nice dress. Brian sits next to Ellen in a borrowed suit, looking much better then earlier though still a bit hurt. The group wait for Jack to join, and Captain Raven, who Adam sent an invite to since he was curious about the man.

[Jack Teach]

Jack walks into the room, still wearing the same fanciful clothes as before. Jack takes off his hat and sets in on a hook. He sits down in a chair, smiling broadly.

Raven enters the room, he was wearing a formal doublet with a dragon sewn on it, he hanged his sword on a hook and took a seat

After all our seated Adam smiles as Ellen makes a quick prayer and the dinner begins. Ellen turns to Brian and asks what happened in Thorakas. He looks a bit ashamed as he sets a huge bag of gold in front of Ellen.

That's the money you gave me to start the orphanage there, shortly after I showed up it was stolen, I got it back but learned the governor was in league with the thieves, tried to stop him, failed miserably, and ended up locked up and tortured for a couple days before escaping, stealing a ship and came looking for you.

Ellen pats him.

It's fine, if I had known about that I wouldn't have sent you alone. After Kitani is done for, the new leader can help take out the governor there. But anyway, Mr. Raven mind telling us about yourself, what made you decide to join Adam here, or is it just the ship and title of captain that persuaded you?
