It's really unrealistic that the crow cult could be that big and powerful without being far more known and recognized.

Veera rolls her eyes.

I bloody hate silent types. Regardless we need to decide what to do next, I think most of the crow's in this area are all dead with their hideouts wiped. But there may be more, if so we need to hunt the remnants down, and kill them. I really don't understand how a cult supposedly as big as Ft. Avery claims has been under the radar for so long. Nor how they get so many bloody idiots to join their cult. But hopefully if we kill the leader they will disband.

Well it's a secret organization, it doesn't make itself known a lot.

But to have so many men a part of it would make it a very hard secret to maintain. For example, a secret organization of a dozen men would be fairly easy. A hundred would be a good bit more difficult. But this group in this port alone had to have at least several hundred and that is being very conservative. It seems closer to a thousand. But lets be conservative and say 300 men in this port(again this is being VERY conservative.) And if it has similar power in all ports, we multiply 300 by 20, and lets say their main group in Tortuga is 500 and we are talking about a cult with about 6500 members easily-and again this is being conservative, it would probably be over 10,000 easy. And to have THAT many men a part of a secret organization would make it a very unlikely to be able to keep it a secret. And to top it off this cult doesn't seem to be a secretive one at all. They LITERALLY have been making marks and spouting off about crows in all their acts. If I had a cult called the owls and I wanted it to be secretive I would instruct members to NOT shout our name and leave marks whenever they strike. And if they did so to leave fake ones blaming another group.

Veera thinks for a moment.

I could use some voodoo to track down other hideouts of theirs, and we can just blast each one we find until no one is left. Some interrogation on some members might help as well.

Take this for example. Literally leaving their symbol on tons of bodies. A secretive cult is either something they are incredibly bad at, or they are not a secretive one at all.

That would cover the secretive part to a degree, but why reveal themselves now and in such a poor manner-they are literally getting tons of men slaughtered making me think they are not thinking things through., but doesn't change the fact that trying to recruit 10K worth of people AND stay secretive would be next to impossible. For each additional member they get that's one more mouth that could blab. I don't really see the crows as some big global cult with a good amount of power. To me they seem to be more of a local cult that has been growing for some time and managed to get some voodoo. And with their numbers fairly high and with voodoo figured to try to make a name by hitting Regis. But if you and space want them to be a global big cult I can roll with that, since this RP isn't meant to be very realistic.

Veera thinks.

A bigger ship means more strength and firepower, but harder to sneak with. You should get a bigger one, but keep your sloop. It could be useful in stealth raids and the like.

Veera turns to Rylon.

Mate, if you want to be a mysterious brooding stranger fine, do whatever you want to do to make yourself look cool. But if you know where we can find the leader of the Crows, save me the time and voodoo and just spill it. I can find the rotten scoundrel myself given some time and with a good amount of voodoo but if I can avoid all that work It would save me time for more important things.

Veera laughs

I knew there was no way that cult could be that bloody big. In that case we kill the crows here in Regis and we end up wiping them out completely.
