Attacks on Administration

I attacked the administration account off the plunder board. I did not use any voodoo. I saw it had been attacked by several players before me. So I plundered twice . I then get a message from admin titled "WARNING" and inside the message is "
Do not ever attack administration account again.

Penalties will be 10 times more severe."
In my events I was booty mastered 5 times by the admins account. Interesting philosophy. I don't remember a rule in place saying I cant plunder off the board (even admin account) .If I missed it, my mistake and I wont attack again. However, this brings an interesting point to Pirates Glory. The casting of voodoo on me for a simple plunder is against everything that the players have established. I like to think you were upset and reacted before thinking. Otherwise all establishes rules of war are out the window now. So if admin cant hang with the rules, I believe it is foolish to expect anyone else to. What you players think? Is admin fair game on plunder board, or should game mechanisms prevent that from happening? I believe I am owed the gold back from your bootys. Any others have an experience with this, please share.

I have updated the description of the administrator account to include this for future cases.

As for the response, it is not an angry response. Simply put, we would not allow a player to "profit" from administrator account. Booty Master was the perfect card to quickly enforce this to everyone involved.

So, at a summary;
-Do not attack administrator account
-Administrator is not a competitive account

Anyone who did it in the past, were not allowed a profit.

what was the point in using booty master on him. I attacked the admin account a while ago and i got a message saying not to attack the account for one reason or another, so i stopped. I believe the booty master was an unnecessary response. But i doubt anyone is going to get anything back

i found it unfair i was booty mastered alot more then other players, guessing this is because the first one of admins was counter cursed.

Well admin cast 28 booty on me..only 4 get through
It showed admin is restraining the damage eventho I'm the one who voodoo him..so I think its a fair play for me but not for others who mostly plunder admin acc cuz it happen to be on plunder board..sorry is all I can say to player who got drag in

If you cast voodoo on the admin, what are you thinking? Even by our own player rules that gives him fair retaliation of how ever many booty masters he wants. But it does show restraint that he didn't just take down the mind bar then cast. I'm not sure that casting booty masters was the best way to get it back though. I think there should be a game mechanism that says "arrg, you can't attack the king of these seas!!" or something like that. And instead of casting booty master, just taking away the gold they gained just like how you guys can give people gold or turns if they suffered from a glitch.

I gota agree with you on that one Roi, i would have though there to be a mechanism in place to prevent players from casting/attacking the admin account.

1 thing about the booty masters. It was done because no player is allowed to profit of the Admin account, that i can understand,

However..

If someone had attacked a player that attacked the admin account, then some of the wealth from the admin account would already be circulating about the game and the second player wouldn't have been booty mastered, so by default has profited off the admin account?
Also..
The players that attacked the admin account would have gained DR and in return for the increase to DR would have obtained some Gold, now the players had the gold removed from them because they couldn't profit from admin account, however did they have there DR removed equal to the attacks on the admin account? If the DR wasn't removed, then anyone that attacked there fleets would surely have indirectly gained from the admin account due to the fact the admin account effectively posted them up for others to target?
So anyone that attacked them because they attacked the Admin, would be gaining from the admin account by proxy?

Little bit convoluted logic but i think it makes sense?

On another note, who lights up the person with unlimited voodoo, turns and gold, that is kinda asking for retribution...

Heh I might try casting magpies one of these day..who knows if admins inventory just filled with booty master lol
