Looks at Jack

We wait for Rogziel to snap out of his trance and provide us answers. In the mean time, if the second beast starts moving toward us, we will evacuate as Kaipur suggested. I will go below and fire 2 cannons for each group, 1 once you exit the building, and a 2nd cannon about a minute later. We will re-assess and I will repeat for the second group. The last two cannons I will hold as a last resort for those that remain behind.

Sounds good. After we get out, where do we go? Further inland? Or should we go inland and try to get transportation out of here?

Kaipur takes a quick sip from a flask, before taking out a small local map and laying it out between himself, Jack and John.

Well as you can see there is a fairly large lake north of Pania-so if we head straight north we will end up at a dead end pretty quickly. Those who head NW will have nothing but low plains filled with mostly farms. Flooding will be fairly bad there but they will have an easier time moving inland then those who go NE. Those who go NE will have to move past a land bridge between the lake to the north and the ocean, so that group will be much closer to the ocean then the other, but if they make it past that they will be safe by then. This is all assuming that the land bridge isn't currently submerged due to the floods. If it is the NE group is probably screwed.

Looks like there are about 50 us total. 31 are Jack and his men. Me, you, and the trance master over here make 34, plus 6 guards and 10 others. Who is going where? And I think we should reconsider who is staying if this goes bad. Only those that can't travel should stay put, which to me looks like no one.

Kaipur says in a quiet voice so that only Jack and John can hear.

Truth be told I think if those beasts are after anyone in particular it would be that man who knows who summoned the damn things. And I don't know about you 2, but I don't plan to be in whatever group has him in it.

Kaipur then says in a louder voice so that all the others can hear.

Now i think we should elect leaders for each group that is formed. Jack can be first leader since he and his men are the largest group here, and I can be second leader for the guards considering they do not trust any of you. The 10 miscellanous can either join John in a third group, or join in with me and the guards. Up to them really.

Kaipur looks down as he notices the flood waters are starting to reach into the building. He looks out a window. It almost looks like they are on an island now instead of the mainland. Kaipur turns back to the others and points to various wooden objects.

Also, timber floats so might be a good idea to bring some with you to help you swim.

Looks over at Kaipur

The 10 others are going with you and the guards. I'm staying. I've had a lot of good memories here and if this place is going to be destroyed, I'm going to be here to see it happen.

Jack puts a hand on his shoulder

Mate, I know you love this place, but it's not worth your life. Besides, you should still have to read the message written on the knife for me.

An earth shaking roar is heard as the ground shakes a little. Kaipur takes a quick look and his face turns pale as he sees a Leviathan begin to rise out of the water. He quickly ties a rope between himself and a guard, instructs everyone else in his group to do the same, and to grab a plank of timber to help float. He then begins to head out with his group. Before leaving he shouts.

If we don't see eachtother again it was nice knowing ya. I will be heading north east. Good luck to ya.

Kaipurs group quickly rush out and begin swimming away. The beast doesn't seem to notice them or even care. Though it does begin to flail around sending crashing waves at the building, ironically helping push Kaipur's group farther away.

Rogziel looks out the window, and watches the beast move
No worries, that one only eats krakens, make sure not to hit it though, you won't like it when it is angry
