Ok your right dez. However, I would prefer if you sent us messages. It is already very slow, meliva posts very thirty minutes, and that's only when she is online. One post a day, is too slow. If you can think of a better way, please let me know. Btw, the story is completely open right now, so if you would like to contribute, go ahead. I'm curious to see if Mr. white come back. Use and entry event if you want to enter please.

For the last few days, I have been trying to hint to you guys what is wrong with this "role-play" but you guys just brushed it off and called me to stop complaining.

I am playing a ghost npc, people can't see me, or hear me, but I will always be talking to myself. ;)

With this, I am technically breaking no rules, plus, in tavern, you can make like 100 rules or whatever but no one would still care, because only forum rules matter.

The door of the tavern swings open forcefully, slamming against the wall with a loud thud. An older man walks through the doorway, grabbing the door as it bounces back off the wall and whips it closed behind him. The man is wearing a leather overcoat, but a sword and 2 pistols can be seen in a leather holster under the coat. The man walks up to the bar, leans over and grabs a bottle of whiskey. Before the bartender can react, the man tosses a medium sized pouch of gold coins and says:

That'll cover food, drink, and any entertainment I may want.

The man walks over to a table by the fire and sits down. He takes a swig of whiskey and then pulls out a deck of cards and begins to shuffle.

Jack looks at the man, he remembers him from the incidents in regis. He wonders if he recognizes him also. Jack has been waiting for hours to ellen to return, he wonders what the hell is taking her so long.

I am glad that people have told me their complaints about the RP's. I will agree that the pace really needs work, though this is a rather hard thing to fix. As many pointed out if the pace is too fast those who are not quite as active or have as much free time feels like they can't join in, and if they do they can get left in the dust. But like Jack also said, if the pace is too slow it can be very annoying to those more active like Jack and myself. So I think what I will try is that I suggest to everyone that after you make a post, you do not add a new one until 2 other players have made a post themselves, or until 1 player made a post and 6 hours pass. I also suggest that in the story, we slow down the pace as well, So I think a good rule will be that for every page of RP, about 1 day passes in the story. I also apologize for the format of the text. But like it was pointed out, often time the story would advance and I would need to change something I wrote- and this has made it to where I would sacrifice legibility for more speed.

But if anyone has their own ideas on how to improve the pace or RP's in general, please feel free to post it in a new topic I will make called RP improvements. As I would prefer that no one post anything unrelated to the RP' in this thread from here on out. Any criticisms or suggestions please post them in the new topic.

Ellen and Emily finally come back into the tavern. Ellen has a open letter in her hand and she sits back down with Jack. Emily sits down as well looking very sad and thoughtful. Ellen says to Jack. "According to his most recent will, he is leaving his house and furniture to Emily, his stable and horses to Burt, His religious possession to me, and his old gear to you. Tomorrow evening we will deliver it to you. His house was a mess and will take time to sort it all out. What exactly happened to him anyway? Ellen and Emily both get some rum and drink in silence waiting for Jack to tell them what happened.
