For me, I want to join in, but, the story went too fast with tons of wall of text, because I am lazy to read. Plus, it doesn't help the fact that none of the wall of text have spacing to make it easier to read.
Sadly, I agree. And it isn't just Meliva. Take a look through the threads. Posts are either just a hodgepodge of sentences with no breaks (extra spacing) between speaking and details, or they are posted so quickly that it makes it difficult for a player to directly join in to the conversation. I honestly have stopped reading parts of the RP, because it is too time consuming to decipher and keep up with the story.
Case and Point. On one of the previous role play threads, I had to rewrite a post 3 times because the situation would change while I was writing it but before I could actually post it. I had to read what occurred and then rewrite to fit, only to have to repeat the process again. If had to read a large post to make sure my post made sense, I probably would have given up on trying. I literally had to force their situation to end just to bring a character into play and in effort to try to get another player more involved in the RP. The latter failed.
RP's should be inviting to all. Most players aren't going to start a separate conversation or interaction to join in the overall RP. They are more likely to try to enter the existing points and interactions. While conflict will exist and are expected, killing a player character can only occur at the choice that player. Another player or group of players can't kill another RP player, nor should they gang up and push away another character. This is a community based RP. If another player is having trouble getting into the RP, help them out. If you can't help to get them involved, well I guess you should pull your head out of your rear end and be a community player.

I've enjoyed reading them, but no time to participate since doing so and developing a character would require a lot of presence in front of the pc keeping up with the rapid pace. Perhaps some RP threads could include a "One post a day" rule or some such? That would slow the pace down and give more players a chance to participate when they could be online and not face being spun out of the story because it gets ahead of their character.

That's too damned slow. If you guys have criticisms, pleas send me or Meliva message rather than posting it here.
Where does it say that you and Meliva are the King and Queen of RP. As I recall you made a topic asking about RP, and I took the initiative and made the first recent RP with a clear set of posting rules, that set forth what is going on now.
RP needs to be friendly for everyone to join in, that is the point of having this in the open forums. Otherwise, you can RP in PMs. At the very least, it needs to slow down a little bit to allow others to start into the storyline.
As well there should be a way for others to post thoughts and comments on the thread that are not RP but related to the topic. I'm using quotes, but that isn't necessarily the best way. It just shouldn't be open text.
