Jack immediately saddles his horse and Chases the horses, his men actually manage to accurately fire their muskets, but only once. Jack and his men chase the carriage firing their pistols, two of Jack's men are injured and they fall off their horses, but jack and his men kill them quickly and ride up next to the carriage, Jack gets out and opens the door, pointing his pistol in the door. Stand and deliver your pieces of eight, or whatever valuables you have. Jack grins in a charismatic yet sinister way. Savvy?

The 2 women, and carriage driver, hand him their possessions. Some jewelry, gold and a nice pocket watch. The dead guards had a little gold as well. Jack's men strip them of any valuables. After searching the carriage and guards they return to Jack and put everything they found in front of him. Though Jack notices Harold hadn't joined them. One of Jack's men goes over to check on him. He quickly calls Jack over.
"Captain, he aint looking so good. In the ditch, Harold lays bleeding, his head had hit a rock, a bullet had pierced his left lung, and he had the misfortune of landing on an old sword left there from some previous fight that pierced his stomach. He looks to Jack and says in a strangely happy voice for a dying man Well this was a fun way to die, one last raid. Be sure to cash in on me 1 gold bounty. He laughs a little before coughing up a bit of blood. His eye's close and he stops breathing, a small smile on his face. Jack's men look sad and look to Jack What do we do with the body Captain? Maybe Sister Ellen can hold a service for him or something?

Jack looks at him remorse. Take his body, we should enquirer what religion he was before letting sister Ellen do a service. Jack orders some of his men to take the two women to his hideout along the cost, not very far from there. He is sad that the pirate captain is dead, jack makes a note to make sure this man's name is in the books. With the the body he rides away back to the tavern with his men, the rest of his men ride to his hideout with the the hostages.

Its early morning by the time Jack arrives back to the Inn. Ellen and Emily are eating breakfast, Ellen telling Emily how all the orphans are doing, while Emily tells her of local pirate hideouts to raid later. They both notice Jack, and then they notice Harold's body. They both get up and move over, they take the corpse and place it on a nearby table. Ellen looks at the body in shock. She looks to Jack "What happened to him? It looks like he was murdered, was it one of the local pirates?" Emily is shaking slightly, a little teary eyed. She shouts. ILL BUTCHER THOSE BLOODY BASTARDS AND THEIR ENTIRE BLOODY FAMILY IF THEY DID. She quickly takes her knife and begins heading out the door before Ellen stops her and sits her down, Emily shaking with rage the entire time. Ellen looks back to Jack while she caresses her sister, trying to calm her down.

You know, if you two plan on making a story together, you can always just message each other and then post the full story on the forums for people to read.

Tho, I dislike reading a wall of text.

But hey, don't let me stop you from writing 80% useless info like it's some kind of 5000 word essay.

First of all grim, anyone can join in the story, but sadly almost no one has. But just because no one else joins in doesn't mean me and Jack can't continue the story and hope someone feels like joining. Second, no one is forcing you to read this, so if you don't want to read it, then simply don't.
third, your post is once again off topic which is against the forum rules, which can lead to a ban.

A darkly dressed fellow sitting unnoticed in the far corner of the common room pauses over his breakfast for a moment as the body of the man is placed on the table. He resumes eating, but pauses again at the outburst. He motions to the innkeeper, who comes to the man's table. After nodding a few times in response to something the man is saying, the innkeeper approaches the women. The gentlemen would like to offer you his condolences on the death of your friend, my ladies, and buy you a drink, if you would like. He says he knows its early, but given the circumstances you look like you could use one.

Emily nods and drinks some rum. Ellen just sits next to her, patting her back. She says in a motherly voice. Its going to be okay, lets hear what Jack has to say before we go picking fights with people who may have had nothing to do with it. After a minute Ellen leaves her sister and sits next to the darkly dressed man. Thank you for giving my sister a drink. My name is Sister Ellen G. Panselo, I'm a Nun from Regis. She is my sister Emily G. Panselo, she actually works as a barmaid in this tavern. It is a pleasure to meet you Sir. May I ask for your name.

The man glances briefly in the direction of the nun's sister, making mental notes over the information he was just given. He takes particular notice of the sketchy looking man standing near the body. Turning his eyes back to the Ellen, he responds: Hayle, me lady. Thalius Hayle. I am a merchant, of sorts, passing through these parts. If you don't mind my asking, your friend looks like he died hard. Trouble in the area?
