The guards lower their weapons, and one of the young looking recruits goes towards the fort treasury. despite only being gone a few minutes, it felt like an eternity when the guard comes back, with a grave look on his face. He looks to Jack and to his king-who for some odd reason has a smug grin on his face, the guard says in a nervous voice Uh, we don't have that much gold in the fort. In fact, both the treasury in the fort, and the mansion, are more or less empty save for a few gold coins and some baubles. The kings suddenly laughs Of course we don't have any gold remaining- where do you think the funds for the blockade came from? What little we had left was on the ships to pay for the men. But someone just blasted it away and made off with what remained. The king looks back to Jack, with the biggest smug on his face. Looks like you won't be leaving with any gold. Kill me if you wish-my son will inherit the throne- I've lived long enough I no longer fear death. The king quickly yells to the guards to fire at will- and forget about him. The guards hesitate for a moment, before raising their weapons, and begin shooting. One guard being a terrible shot and while aiming for Jack ends up blowing the kings brains out. The guard looks horrified before beginning to reload.

Jack roars and throws the dead king aside. If it's a fight you want you'll get one. Jack throws himself at them, killing one after another, slaughtering them with his cutlass and pistol. His sword strikes are savage, yet precise and accurate, his pistol shots are accurate and brutal. His comrades join in the fray, soon the remaining guards are either dead on the ground, or have run away. Bring me all the nobles, or at least the richest one's. This blockade was expensive, but there is no way in hell that those fools wasted all their money on that, no nation this powerful would be that stupid. meanwhile, Jack's ship or rather, ships had landed a couple miles from the coast. Jack's fleet had heard where he was and had decided to come to help their captain, the Invincible had had heard it too. In a few minutes, his entire crew of his 40 ships had arrived, 200,000 men. ALL OF YOU, LOOT AND BURN EVERY NOBLE LOOKING BUILDING IN THIS BLOODY PORT, I'LL NOT BE LEAVING HERE WITHOUT PROFIT, YOU MARK MY WORDS! The nobles are brought to the ships and the looting begins. Jack puts on his frock coat and grimly marches through the merchant quarter. I don't have the title "Buccaneer Admiral" for nothing. Not a penny is to be lost, savvy? Not one!

Ellen watches from the Panselo orphanage as Jacks men ravage the port, currently comforting the late governor's children. The governess has apparently committed suicide out of fear of Jacks men after hearing of her husbands death. 3 more mouths to feed Ellen thought sadly. One of Jack's men goes to him, and he points towards the orphanage, While not as nice looking as most of the noble mansions, it was still a large building of nice looking stone and wood seated in one of the nicest neighborhoods. It even had a nice looking chapel built into the side. He says to Jack We were going to raid that place too since it looked pretty noble, but the Nun said she was a friend of yours, is that true, or can we raid it.

Jack turns stone cold. Do not raid that place, leave all innocents alone, only rob from the corrupt merchants. Also, no rape, and no unnecessary violence. If I find out about anything like that, that man will be hung. Savvy?

The man nods, and goes and spread Jacks order. Any men who were eyeing the orphanage quickly move elsewhere, not wishing to be hanged for disobedience. As the day stretches on, almost all the houses of nobility have been picked clean, though many managed to smuggle some of their treasures with them while hiding in nearby churches. Ellen is currently writing a letter addressed to the late king's heir, hoping to get into contact with some sort of family the governor's children may have now that there parents are both dead. Thankfully jacks men are not being overly violent. She hasn't received any new orphans today aside from the governor's, so they clearly are not killing parents. That is good she thinks. Last thing this bloody world needs is more orphans. She looks to the youngest, not even old enough to crawl, resting in her arms. At least she wont remember this day ellen thinks sadly. She sets the infant into a crib and has the 2 other children, a little girl and a young boy sleep in a bed nearby. Neither are willing to speak at the moment. She couldn't blame them. Seeing your mother hanging from a noose would make most people silent for a while. Hopefully they have relatives to care for them when this all blows over. She utters a quick prayer and sits at her window sill watching the raiding die down.

the cutter approaches the lead frigate of one of the fleets. Will knows they will not stop and he prepares for a risky cross over to the frigate while both ships are under way. The starboard side of the cutter slams into the port side of frigate. Will jumps from the taffrail on the cutter to a ladder rope hung over the side of the frigate. It is a sucessful transfer, he climbs the ladder and comes abord the mid deck of the frigate.

Permission to come aboard sir.

Jack watches as his men increase his and their wealth exponentially. A guard fires his pistol at jack, jack stumbles back as the bullet skims his shoulder. He draws his pistol and shoots back, killing the guard. Jack looks to see in the center of the city, the guards are attempting to either reclaim the city, or burn it down. Jack sees some guards walking towards the orphanage. He runs with his pistol and cutlass drawn, screaming for help.

The guards see Jack running towards them shouting for help from his men, they immediately panic, and sprint towards a nearby manor and barricade the door and window. They then hide in places throughout the manor, deciding to wait until the pirates are done looting before trying to reclaim the city. Meanwhile, joining in on the looting many of the common citizens are taking part in robbing manors and merchant shops, even robbing each other. It is complete and utter chaos, as many are beginning to fight over the cheapest of trinkets-All the guards have long since given up hope of maintaining order and most are holed up in the fort with the gates barred and locked. Those who were too slow to escape into the fort have decided to hide in places that have already been looted, many of them grouping together and hoping the chaos dies down soon. Meanwhile in Panselo, the younger children are all in their rooms with the curtains closed, while the older ones along with Ellen's crew and Brian are watching all the doors and windows while armed with various weapons. Once in a while a looter tries to break in, but they are quickly killed. Many of the local guards and nobles have taken up shelter in Panselo-feeling it the safest place in the port at the moment. They are all huddled together in the parlor many weeping and hoping the chaos ends soon.

Jack is satisfied that no child has been hurt. Jack then turns his eyes to the fort. All right mates, we've beaten everyone else, now to the fort! The pirates cheer and yell, waving their cutlasses and firing their pistols. Jack leads the charge on the fort. They break down the door and charge in and all hell breaks loose. The fight is at this point mostly with blades, as the men have used much of their shot. With the exception of one thing: cannons. Jack's men roll in a cannon and fire it at the guards, the guards also aims rifles. Men die with much blood as the cannon is fired and rifle shots respond. Jack runs swinging his cutlass and laughing at his success. He engages in a duel with the lead guard. The lead guard fights well but jack realizes he is far better. Jack finishes it of with a stab to the throat. The men erupt in cheers. Jack takes control of the port, restores order, and then sends his ransom demands to a nearby port on a cutter .
