Ellen turns to Jack. At the moment I know no more then you. But I will be changing that soon. He arrives in 2 days, which gives me some time to get some info out of the governor. Speaking of which, I am to have dinner with him tonight. So I will be off to start getting some info out of him soon. Ellen quickly goes deeper into the orphanage, into her private bedchambers, has a quick bath, puts on a nice conservative dress, and makes her way back to the governor mansion. She is rather surprised to find out the governor has had to attend business elsewhere, and she will be dining with the governors wife instead. Ellen is more then a bit worried- Much easier to get info out of an old man, then an old woman, especially if said woman suspects her of an affair. Always tomorrow Ellen thinks to herself. Governor cant be busy the whole 2 days. The Governess looks at Ellen, and curtly asks her what her relationship with the governor is. Ellen smiles "Well you see miss, I merely am a new friend of his, he likes to hear my tales, and I enjoy telling them. I have no desire to pursue any sort of affair with him- As I am sure you are aware I am the owner of the nearby Panselo orphanage- I am known as Mother Ellen to the little ones, and as Sister Ellen to the church-I am a Nun and have been such for my whole adult life." Ellen takes a Rosary out of her dress, and smiles warmly to the governess-who herself has seemed to soften upon learning no affair has taken place. The rest of the dinner goes by uneventfully- Ellen sadly finds out the governess knows nothing of the kings visit. Ellen begins making her way back to the Orphanage. "What terrible luck." She mutters to herself upon retiring to her bedchambers.
