In a well guarded manor, two people converse seriously. The one in charge is a battle hardened, uniformed man. The other one looks more like a business man, dressed in smart clothes and seated behind a large desk with neat stacks of gold coins on it, which he occasionally strokes gently. The discussion revolves about a certain prisoner.

Uniformed man (U):
So, are you sure he can't escape?
Business man (B): Well... He's quite the escape artist, you know. And stubborn. He may be able to escape from his cell, but he'd still be aboard the ship.
U: Yes, I guess. And you don't think he'd be able to start a mutiny?
B: That would surprise me. But unforeseen things may happen, as you well know, old friend.
U: Indeed. And then what? Have you set our contingency plans in action?
B: I have. There is a fleet waiting in Psaral. Should he manage to take control over the ship, against all odds, that's where he's most likely to sail. And, uhm, you also said you knew there were some sea monsters around.
U: I have control over the Leviathans, don't you worry. What about Neapolis and Kanoni?
B: Having a fleet in all ports would be too expensive. He'll most likely never escape, after all. Nevertheless, I have men there who will warn us if the ship is spotted.
U: Very well. And my propaganda campaign is successful. People are starting to turn against him. His popularity and influence is dropping every day he's absent.
B: I have noticed that. I have also managed to convince many of the natives that he would ban the coconut holidays, should he return. Many of them are rather hostile towards him.
U: Good. But what if he SHOULD return?
B: Well.... his pockets are deep. And he IS stubborn, you know. With enough time, I think he has enough resources to reestablish himself on the throne.
U: Let's hope that never happens though.
B: Absolutely. Yet - if the worst SHOULD happen, I have made some calculations. I'd say a factor 2.68, although there is some margin of error. More than enough to trigger paragraph 4.
U: You got them to agree to paragraph 4? Nice work.

They both smile, empty a glass of a clear liquid, and the uniformed man picks up a deck of tarot cards, and leaves the house

one eye emerges from the shadows. hey jack, I plan to turn some officers to our side, and have them take me to the captain with the appearance that they have captured me. This is very high risk, as I will not know till the time comes, if I can truly trust them. Should I my plan succeed I will hang a lantern on the in the window of the captains quarters that faces the quarter deck. Once this happens you will need to signal the uprising. I need to take care of a few things and will find you again soon.

Jack takes some men and subdues the guards by stabbing them with knives. They then take out muskets, pistols, spears, cutlasses, and axes. They then hide these weapons and two of Jack's men dress up as guards and "stand guard" as if nothing has. Jack also removes a piece of black cloth from the ships's cabin, he stores it in his jacket. The men go around asking the others that if they could mutiny, would they? Many of the men say yes. Jack orders them to wait for the signal. On my command, be prepared to take the ship. Savvy? The sailors go to their posts as if nothing happened, but are ready to take the ship when the signal comes.

One Eye walks slowly on the Gun deck. He pauses for a moment before heading down the stairs to the orlop deck. He reaches the orlop and is heading towards the stairs to the hold. He slows as he approaches the stairs to the hold. He feels a dagger press into his lower back. He knows If he fails now all will be lost. One Eye thrusts himself backwards forcing the knife to enter his back. One Eye then turns clock wise abruptly, the knife stuck in his flesh pulls easily from the attackers hand. One Eye punches the man in the throat killing him instantly. One eye does not recognize this man, unfortunate that i was so reckless and killed him, I guess I can't ask him any questions. The shock is starting to set in from the knife that still hangs in his back. He stumbles a few paces and falls through a hatch, into the hold.

agonizing grunt.

The man in the sloops shadows with a hawk on his shoulder follows with a telescope the pigeon his bird caught and he released but not before following the instructions his employer had mandated. He chuckles at the thought of the Captain never knowing what hit him. My part is done and as usual, I got by with murder now to go spend these coins aconite has brought me this night

I'm fine jack, the fall hurt more than the knife. A cup of grog and I will be ready to go kill the captain.

Jack gives him grog. Apparently the Captain is dead already, he was killed presumably by being stabbed. Jack smiles. Now, are we ready to take the ship?
