So i understand that the fastest way to get gold would be to set up a auto trade route on a travelling distance longer then 1h.Would you agree with that ?
Also what do i do with turns, should i trade them for gold ? Thank you in advance

You need to find the most profitable trade route. The best route is usually found in the city that produces tools for 16 gold each.

From multiple player's experiences, as a new player, you don't have much to do with your turns and they give you a lot of them. Working as a porter and trading turns for gold is definitely worth it as a new player and pays off big time. As you grow though it really isn't something that I would do because the gold amount is really small but huge for a new player. 200turns = 3.6k gold about. But yes, it pays off well and is quick and easy.
Also, you want to use your sloop to attack NPCs and use that as your main money source because your sloop was never designed for trade and won't do well with it.

Afk, looking for that palm tree island beach of Legends.
