jack scowls. Aye, I have heard of that ******! I used to sail with him, but I left his crew after they unjustly hung a man, a priest. I knew that priest, he was a good man, he was my friend. Then I started hearing about all the horrible things he was doing, I then came here, not only to "cause trouble" but to kill him if he crossed me path. He has less ships then me and less powerful ones too, so he will lose the fight, and there WILL will be a fight, mark my words!

Brian finishes another mug, and looks at the 2 men Quite a lot of trouble it seems is about to come about, been a while since I been in a big fight, think I prefer to stay and keep drinking, though if this trouble comes here I need to sober up a bit.Brian gets up and starts walking a bit wobbly towards the exit Gotta go meet up with my friend. Before she leaves port and I gotta swim after her. And as if on cue, Ellen walks back in looking a tad miffed as the sound of battle starts echoing throughout the port Well it seems a naval battle is happening right outside the port. apparently some pirate by the name of Arcus geared up quite a few ships and is now attacking the defense force. Looks like he may have hired some Mercs. Regardless the fighting will be reaching the tavern soon.Ellen quickly strides to brian, and starts leading him to a corner and they both sit and begin eyeing the entrance, while holding their pistols. Don't know about the rest of ya, but ill be hankering down here and wait this whole affair out.

Shit, gotta go
The armored man charges out, rifle in hand, and boards a Brig Of War. At the port, a frigate fitted with a ram slams into a Brig of War, and the pirate vessel was soon sunk by the frigate. Arcus’s flagship, a Man O War by the name of Eternal Pain, engaged in a fierce battle with the Flag Gallon Justice, and several other pirate ships are being shelled by the Defense Corp Navy. The Port garrison use cannons to bomb the pirates ships, sinking one and damaging another.

jack runs outside and orders his ships to sail away from the battle. The ships get the signal and sail away firing broadsides as they go, the gun crews on the ships are well trained and sail away with almost zero damage. Some of the enemies try to get close but they quickly realize the mistake and turn back. Jacks ships are safe, the gun crews are too accurate and too fast. Jack walks back in the tavern, pulls out his pistol and sits down. one hell of a fight going down there, mates.

A mysterious figure stumbles into the market. It grabs the nearest woman and asks Where is the nearest mug to drown myself in?!? She shakenly points at the tavern and the figure barges through the door...is this a bad time?

Brian and ellen step out and look at the sea battle and the fighting that is beginning to happen on the streets, Brian looks to ellen, and saysYou think we should try to sail past the battle and get outta here?Ellen looks as pirates manage to take over one of the port cannons and begins firing upon the defenders, Don't be foolish brian, our cutter the Cunning Linguist might be fast, but it would only take one nasty hit and we would be swimming back. Besides your drunk and the rest of the crew are either dead or missing. We stay here at the tavern and ready for a fight.Far in the horizon ellen sees several fleets flying the Tokelau flag, but as they near the port they switch the flags out for flags of Isle of Man and begin firing upon the defenders. Blast it all, looks like Things just got far worse. Brian, help me begin blocking the windows and doors. Only leave the front open, we don't want any more suprises.Ellen and brian begins pushing various furniture to block the various entrances.

As the hours pass by, as the dead pile high, no escape and no salvation, the attackers manage to form a blockade, and bombed the defenders defenses to smithereens, as the ships prepare to land, a new fleet arrives, a fleet like none other seen before, made out of pure iron and runs on steam, these behemoths make a quick work of the attackers, and the armored man and his comrades drag the pirate Arcus on shore, chained by 20 chains.
