Actaully, that makes perfect sense. What's the best way for one to be a famous player.

There is no best way to be a "famous" player. Learn the game and be active both in the game and forums. Your actions in game and on the forums will decide the fame you receive, but do not aim to be famous.

I will add, it’s take fearlessness too. Don’t be afraid to do something. You might be surprised by the results. If you succeed great! If you fail, learn from it. Learn how to adapted. If you take a few hard knocks learn how to avoid it in the future.

You have two legends of the game in your guild now. Learn from them BUT then move on. Learn from other vets too.

Time has nothing to do with. Bigtea wasn't here very long to make a impact and become known. One's actions in the game and/or forums will be the determining factor. Stay in the shadows in both, and you will be forever forgotten, but there are those that aren't here for the fame.

The best advice is to learn the game, find a niche, roll with it, and/or hit the forums. Words can leave a big mark, without being a major in-game player.

A few things I can suggest is try to be open to any and all criticism and suggestions from other players especially older ones, and remember that every action has potential consequences. And that fame is not always a good thing. For example if you became famous by ratting out guildmates to a rival guild for gold, then odds are no one will trust you. don't just focus on the short term, try to keep the long term in mind, and be careful of what bridges you burn.

As far as Bigtea goes I only know that he existed and he dumped huge ammount of cash in the game. Many newer players have 0 knowladge about him and yet I am 90% sure that they heard about other players whom are inactive and yet their name is known. I am sure that 90% older players are of the same knowladge about him. He existed and he dumped huge cash. I believe it is not that type of fame he seeks

And in my personal opinion, I think the best thing you can do, is show yourself to be loyal, honest and trustworthy. Help your friends, keep your promises, don't break deals, don't backstab people. Don't be over reliant on others or act wishy washy, and don't let others push you around, and try to be civil and polite to others-it doesn't cost a dime to do so, and it is often rewarding, even in real life.

I think the best way to describe bigtea would be a large firework. When he was here it was a fairly big event, sparkled for a minute then faded to nothing. Sure those who saw it can remember it, but it was nothing too significant.

As far as Bigtea goes I only know that he existed and he dumped huge ammount of cash in the game. Many newer players have 0 knowladge about him and yet I am 90% sure that they heard about other players whom are inactive and yet their name is known. Bigtea was an example of time doesn't mean anything. Those that were around know the name and what he did. He made his mark on the game, no matter how short of a time he was here. Fame is fame, what differentiates Bigtea from others is that his contributions and mark on the game are short lived and not really note worthy to pass-on to new players.

What proves my point is that you didn't say who? Just because the new players don't hear of a person, doesn't mean they didn't leave a mark on the game that other players won't remember.

I'm sure I can drop a few names and very few (if any) of the new players would know who they were/are. Just look at the first fantasy draft, without reading the notes, can you provide details on the veteran players that were picked.

All of that is besides the point. Fame is fame, your actions will determine your if you are worth being remembered and how long you will be remembered.

I am lazy to search but yes I can tell about 90% famouse players without any notes. If I was new player I wouldn't know immediatley but after 3 days I would. Those whom speak with me can verify that I am fairly familiar with all the past of avonmora and past players. If course those players that managed to achieve something while those who didn't I know most of them by name and quick summary.
