Must be a lot of hunters that use muzzleloaders, as non-muzzleloaders (breach loading) are still restricted until Nov 18th.

Really ? I was sure I was hunting legally with my centre-fire cartridge modern day firearm.

Wasn't thinking when I was typing that. Depends on the state you are hunting in.

Yea...the Great State of Ontario has hundreds of WMU's (Wildlife Management Units) that each have their own rules and seasonal dates for muzzle loaders, bows, shotguns only, dogs/ no dogs and the list goes on but its pretty much universally done during the breeding season I believe.

We got a big dry doe that would field dress over 150 lbs. There is still a big lad scraping around and a little 4 prong also wanting in on the action. Got pics of the 4 prong and going to try for the big lad this coming weekend. For me, it's just keeping my buddies entertained as where I live, I could bag a deer anytime.

Michigan's firearm season opens Nov. 15. I already pit 2 in the freezer with my bow so I will just be looking for a nice buck now.

I just think the games dead in general, till something happens.

May be people logging in daily, but how many of them are staying on for more then 10 mins? :)

It isn't a matter of how long players are logging on. It is what they are doing while they logged in. As well, I suspect most players aren't about making a huge splash.

Don't know why I assumed that most states follow the same rules. Some states apply additional restrictions, such as Tennessee, which currently archery and muzzleloaders are open for deer hunting with breach loaders restricted until Nov. 18th.
