If Mesp has way too much gc, trade it in for credits and use to buy voodoo. What ya got to lose ? A new game style much to the chagrin of others and you may find delightful for a while.

Mesp & Sly, you can not make others the scapegoat when you're unwilling to find alternative forms of income or other ways to play the game. If you're not able to look beyond the mundane trading style then the issue is yours and claiming that victim status only hurts you. You're sitting on loads of wealth, use it, take on those pirates you're moaning about. Avonmora would love you for it, including the pirates :duel

That said, I do agree with vixen on the idea and need for roles to insure / protect merchants. Lots of ideas have been posted on this in the past year, too bad none were deemed worthy.

There was 2 other players who have left the game cus of abuse of voodoo, voodoo is just too dam powerful for such low cost.
One was the leader of TOR, and another, I don't remember who, they both left the game cus they got bored of continues attack for stupid reason from brainless fools.

There was plenty more people who left for the same reason, some quietly, some with an announcement.

There is many times where I wanted to leave too, there is just not enough activities to do, can't fight people because its easy for them to harm us but hard to harm them.

Oh please its Pirates Glory; if you are a merchant you are going to get attacked. This is like UK's thread where they cried about getting hit - Its going to happen if you own a nation.

If you want a peaceful life, go play farmville. I had 300 ships, got hit several times as a merchant by the same people did you see me crying? No. I merely said well done to the attackers.

I would not class Banger as a pirate, he has tons of ships you can target - and does not fly the jolly roger. Sometimes I think the true definition of a pirate has been lost. I am sure if you cast a spy report on Charles Vane or his crew, you may find the true definition of a pirate. (Not saying you should, but giving an example).

I agree with Avery on this.
This is not the right game for lilly-livered landlubbers who cant take the hits.
I also feel that when people spend too much real money on the game only to have the advantage they have purchased stolen from them,
it hurts them more (and makes me giggle).
It takes more than cash to succeed in this game. You also need guts if you want the glory!
I don't know, it seems to me if they ain't got you one way they got you another,
So what's the answer? that's what I keep asking myself, what's it all about?
Know what l mean?

I am not talking about Pirates, I am talking about the people that cast voodoo for fun. Also, it looks dumb for people to use the name of something to argue with, if you rename yourself to smart, would that make you smarter? Nope, it wouldn't, also, I am sorry if what I am saying offended you.

Nope, no glory, you would just make people think that this guy got no life.
Similar to me.

Broom I've not made anyone a scapegoat. Don't confuse slys comments with mine. I enjoyed retaliating against banger. It was very pleasing to seek retribution. I'm just not a fighter by nature. When I started pg I enjoyed the struggles and trials of building and trying to obtain the status I have now. I dont have interest now because everything is too easy. I make the coin every day now. My bank runneth over. What is the point to being a merchant except to fill a bank with no other goals? Let me buy a luxory liner or some huge cruise ships to take others to watch the battles.

A pirate is a player with no active ships or fleets?

You'll see em if I raid :D

What pirate in history kept his ship docked in port so it could be confiscated and he arrested then hanged?

Pirate tactics 101, hit and run.

Lesson complete.
