And actually, I think that anyone interested in the game HAS to join a new guild of just the people playing the game. The new guilds made for the game could all start with the same thing to clearly identify who is playing the game. Perhaps, the teams drafted by the captains could be the first teams for the game. And maybe there would be an addition of 1-2 new players per team (or if players on the drafted teams did not want to get in on this, then the other newer players who want to learn could be on that team).
There was talk about having some event in between drafts, so this could be an event twice a year that done halfway between the drafts. Drafts would be March and September, and this could go every December and June (plus one as soon as it could get organized).
Needless to say at this point, but I would definitely be in on this!

I agree with this structure - just create a couple of temporary guilds for this event.
only the event guilds can compete against each other. This will limit collateral damage and
any burden on un involved guild mates who might not know if they should or should not interfere and clear voodoo.
cast genos, ect. It will keep this from crossing with other guild actions. Say in the case that william one eye and banger are participating in the capture the flag, but then Shadowood starts a guild war with ayes, severely handicapping us. This separation will be useful, it would also mean that players could form teams that are not current guild dependent. So feniks and pulpop could be a team.... well maybe not
. Another large benefit is that this will make it extremely clear who is participating and who is not.
