I greatly like CDV, and have done business with him before, yet I by no means meant to imply he was going to buy votes for your team Lana in the shadows, nor did I Intend to imply he was the sole buyer of votes last draft- I think there was a few others though my memory is poor and I can only recall CDV off the top of my head. And while I personally didn't approve of him or others doing so last draft it is indeed a game. and it is all in good fun. Honestly CDV was rather clever of doing what he did in the last draft considering there were no rules against it and he had the resources to do it.

Well it really boils down to two teams for me and even then one is better than the other, I would suggest in the future that captains not try and recruit those fierce players from yesterday unknown to newer players such as myself. I don't know them or of them and so it loses the value it holds in your mind and my vote will obviously reflect that.
Even if you tell me in your summary this player did this or that, I haven't seen them play and so to me, you have a blank on your team.

So it happens that CDV can not buy our votes this time around and we actually need to consider which is the best team.
There are two options to go by in my opinion: 1. checl and consider which team is actually the best (at given task i.e. war etc) 2. or decide which team is more poppular/famous.

For me its going to be the first option and there are already long discussions on my PMs. I figured it will be interesting and maybe even educating to open up those discussions here.

so I wanted to offer few paramaters that will help figure which team can be better.

resources (gc/non trading income)
toughness (the ability to defend in a war)
Voodoo chest
War fleet
Voodoo skill
War expirience
Leasdership skill/control
Cohesion (team work vs infighting - can they fight together?)
Activeness (to have the team work members must be online).

using these parameters i find it much easier to reach a balanced and thoughtful opinion. would love to hear your opinion

While I was training new players 99% of them asked about older players and happenings in the past so I have to say older players give advantage to the team....

Probably not lol, but what I am discussing is the voting procedure. I will use information on those I have seen. Lore will play a part but my overall vote will be what I have seen and common sense. Now if I wanted to vote based on the prejudices of those around me sure I guess I could assimilate a guess vote to make someone around me happy. But that just isn't me so I go on what I have seen. I spend more time watching port battles and taking note of who is doing what where. I have been in a few conflicts and some I have fought with and against impress me the same as I am sure those who have gone quiet did. But ultimately I will base my vote on 95% of what I have seen the other 5 percent will be lore and common sense.
