GREETINGS AVONMORIANS!!

It is almost that time again for our BI-ANNUAL PIRATES GLORY Fantasy Draft. The draft will begin on SEPTEMBER 11th, 16:00 server time. The Captains have been selected and they are busy formulating what type of team they want, who will be on their team, why they are gonna choose who they do. This should be a very fun draft as we have for the first time an ALL FEMALE cast of captains. Lets meet them now and in draft order!

Trixikilikili (#41855) - It is said that Trixi is one of the deadliest of all female captains that have played our game. She has been around the port a few times with being in historic guilds such as PK and ZomB. She was a big part of the Midway Regime and now has a "peaceful" trading operation based out of the SSAA guild. Think twice before you cross her and if you do, bring some firepower or you will lose.

Dejanira (#50255) - This lovely lass has been sailing these seas for almost 2 1/2 years! She began with SSTG and they she has stayed. Loyal, Strong, Wealthy and Beautiful! No wonder the boys try to get her attention with some voodoo! But she is no push over, one of the stronger merchants in the game, it will be interesting to see what type of team she builds!

Lana (#50727) - Lana is another great female captain. She too has proven her loyalty in the game, being one of the corner stones in the guild HELM. Queen of Montenegro, Queen of New Zealand, Duke of Tokelau, she is no stranger to the game and game mechanics. While she isn't an aggressive player she is quick to assist and she has very powerful allies, beware...

Meliva (#58298) - The pen is mightier then the sword... words that fit the Captain Meliva. She is well versed in diplomacy and was one of the founding members of the once great nation Isle of Man! Meliva has been apart of HELM, TOR and now SSAA. Don't be fooled by that sweet face and midwest charm, as her cunning tongue will twist a tale so good that she will have you convinced that you are the one who shot JFK from the grassy knoll.

xXMontyXx (#65884) - Monty is our newest female captain for this draft, but don't let that fool you into thinking she is not experienced. Monty is a wild card. Kill you with kindness one second, the next she is slicing your throat with her cutlass. She is battle hardened and has learned more about the game and game mechanics in her short time then most twice her age. She be part of that deadly guild VUDU, where it is rumored that she wears the pants in the guild and keeps all the boys in line... This be a sailor to watch out for.

Draft will be a Traditional Draft (as chosen by the player base) and as the same as the first 2 drafts we will select in "Serpentine" style.
1,2,3,4,5,5,4,3,2,1,1,2,3,4,5..... ETC.

Once the draft starts remember to keep ALL DRAFT COMMUNICATIONS here. Only the captains and myself are allowed to post on the actual draft forum topic. All other discussion, please post here.

After the draft is complete, I will make a VOTING POLL for who the players think drafted the best team. Of course the captains will have a chance to plead their case and why they chose who they did first.

Last but not least, I will again be donating $10,000,000 to the prize pool. In the past several others have donated to this and we have paid out over $100 million each draft. THIS IS NOT EXPECTED, but is it appreciated. If you would like to donate to the prize pool, please state it here and then you can send it to me when the time comes. I am sure Captain Jack (if he ever returns from vacation) will once again issue prize badges.

I forgot to add that the 10th round will once again be the Rookie Draft Round. I will instruct the captains to select a newer player. A sailor that has only been in the game for 6 months or less. Currently that is about page 250 of the "Just Joined".

This is a great round to have as it will shine some light on 5 new players who have already made a splash in Pirates Glory.

I am excited to see this draft!
