How many TI's were spent? The nation I know about already had decent population.

You should be receiving the rough value of 26 TI's per day from your venture, maybe more. I don't know how long you have run this but you've at least gained 182 TI value in the last week alone.. I know the scheme as one nation sought me out to ask if it was a good option before they turned it down.

Only loss is stock and projected profit as the term will be cut short.

Considering CJ's scenario, it takes 254 TI's to get 177m pop to 2.1b pop.... the tokelau ports had what 600m roughly before you began casting away. I would guess minus a few extra for BD's (which you said the resistance was also minimal) it took you 7-10 days to recover your investment. Where is the loss?

Not that I don't agree with you but are you assuming that TK is paying them everything they are making weekly? My understanding is that only so much is paid back weekly or however often so that it is a slow bleed payout over the 18 weeks. I wouldn't doubt if Merc hasn't made their money back based on the parameters of the contract. That being said there are multiple solutions here. Either TK could just pay Merc extra out of the treasury or Merc will perhaps take a loss or only break even.

No, My understanding is TK pays what difference between old pop to new until investment returned and some profit the rest I don't know. But based on 2 ports Merc should be getting 35m per day roughly speaking.

we are getting paid less. your math is wrong regardless and you are forgetting that we are getting all the missions BDs (and the jealousy BDs). your UK is free raiding so you have no idea of the real costs.

The only investment not returned would be Merc's in their largely prepped stack of cards on hand. They have not been used and over stocking was poor foresight especially since you yourself said a change to mechanics was anticipated.

Sounds like the Merc argument is solely based on their own interests and not what's best for the game

I have no problem losing the credits. but we didn't get paid for all the TIs we used. We have a 18 weeks contract we wont be able to fulfill due to intervention. so big lose even if we disregard the cards on hand.

Anyways we wont be the ones paying the expenses. for the pop contract we gave up on other, more lucrative operations and we will go back doing them.

Your business model still works, it just take twice as long now with the monies halved. Do you have to abandoned it?

the contract is void under 2B a port.

again guys. Merc will take the loss. its a little bump in the road for us. but would Merc take another big and risky venture like that? I wouldnt count on that. Does the game profit from no long term strategies? I think t losses and thats the main point I am making.

I would need to speak with my lawyer on this one. But if ADMIN reduces the pop to 210 million, your contract should adjust with it as it was out of yours and TK control. Your new contract is for 200 million.
I don't fear death. I look forward to it with great anticipation. For then I will met God face to face and let him know that I stole his Man of War!!!
