Well. I just happened to come across this. And I thought this would never happen. But it has.

Trump has officially announced the US will be leaving the Paris Climate Accord.

While people have been crying out at Hillary for being a "corporate" democrat. Clearly Trump is a "corporate" republican, but with 0 shits about the future.

A week or so ago isn't really that "long" ago. But I do agree I was a bit late on getting this.

I'm sure I also read that its upto the individual states to decide what they do about climate change... trump just hasn't agreed to the strict rules and fines imposed by the eu.

Nobody who has signed the Paris Accord has agreed to any strict rules or fines being imposed by the EU : it's got nothing to do with the EU.

He said he would do this during his campaign before he was even elected. This is what I believe BMW is referring too.

well maybe if you were paying attention during his campaign, that is what he said he was going to do.. why is it a surprise?

Also, why is this a bad thing? IMO we spend way to friggin much money on "saving the environment"..

Oh because you know. Clearly saving the environment is such a burden. Why don't we also stop trying to achieve all our goals since they are a burden?
