In a fashionable office building several blocks from the bar, Haron sits behind a large desk, counting gold coins. Then, three knocks can be heard. Haron looks up, nods, and a guard opens the front door. A boy enters, looking a little scared, but he walks up to Haron and hands him a note.
Haron reads the note, and starts mumbling to himself: "Morgan... and Valar?" He raises an eyebrow. "Donkeys being thrown?" He shakes his head. He quickly makes some calculations, then sighs. "Sorry", he says, and walks over to the boy, "but I'm afraid..." Haron stops in his tracks. He reads the note once more, carefully. Then he walks over to his desk, opens a drawer and pulls out a paper. To the trained eye, a tiny smile might be seen on his face. "Ah. Yes", Haron says. "I think the T'zak Ryn will accept this contract after all!".
When the boy leaves, Haron gives a few orders to one of his men. He then puts a handful of gold coins in a purse, and starts walking towards the door. Halfway there, he hesitates, then returns to the desk, removes first two, then one more gold coin from the purse, and return them to the table. "This will have to do; the governor is more than wealthy enough already" he says to himself, before he leaves the office and enters a waiting carriage.
