Man, seems like the US can not catch a break. Rather funny how shadows attempt to steal a port would lead to this new conflict.

This has already cost USA more than it should have, or could have if people on both sides would simply put aside their damn pride and hurt feelings.

I have tried to play diplomat in this. I will not rehash hours upon hours of conversations, but both sides admittedly are at fault to one extent or another.

USA taking action because Taylor escalated things beyond where they needed to go, but it was all due to a mistake made by USA council, which to their credit, they admitted to from the outset, but a mistake on their part none the less. Taylor impugned the character of a former citizen and the integrity of the council. Well beyond the bounds of where someone should take it.

So on one hand we have a new player who feels slighted because of a mistake, which was admitted, by the leadership. Then it escalated because neither side took a step back and said, what makes this right in everyone's eyes. So hurt feelings.

On the other hand we have 3 or 4 council members with years of experience, determined to destroy a new player. For pride.

Hurt feelings v pride. What a worthwhile endeavor this one is.
