Spy fleets

another of mah silly ideas....comment as you wish for i know its not that good but still i decided to give it a shot.....how about a spy fleets feature which can be hired from ur hideouts (once they're implemented) ? these are npc fleets that you'll be able to hire for some gold or turns maybe to see the player fleets on the plunder board in a port that you get to choose....this will for the weaker players ensure that there is no danger in a certain port before they send their fleets there....and for the stronger players they'll enable them to instantly find their targets across the ports they seem probable......just an idea...

I like it but there is something lacking...... if you're hiring them shouldn't you be able to plunder other characters and take half the money you gain in the plunder and the rest going to hired fleet?

I thought that would make sense.

this is a horrible idea for the simple reason that it just creates more imbalance for the game. If you want to see what is in another port, send a cutter, its's that simple. it's not necessary and it simplifies the game to far. To implement this, all you would see is a bunch of complaints to get it taken away. Maybe som1 else can explain this more than me but i am 100% opposed to something that downgrades the game to such degree.

Once you say it like that, it does sound stupid.
