exactly...i support pandah...there is so much need of a hideout in a pirates' game....

If you guys read this i said the king of a nation, not a pirate, colonizes a new port.

A pirate making a hideout is a totally different story.

except...everyone gets a personal hideout, and it seems like jacko hints its much more like a paradise then a port ;)

the number of ports in the game already is barely justified by the number of active players. increasing the number of ports would only put more space between the player.

also people who could would change nations just for this purpose, avonmora would end up with a bizarre number of ports in no time,

yeah...and if they're hideouts...they won't appear on the map and yet players would have a place to feel safe...when are they gonna implement that feature anyway?

Zombie is right, the amount of hideouts/colonies would max out the game too much, if we wanted to implement this, i recommend a new part to the map in which only a certain number of hideouts/colonies would be allowed, and if we made it so that certain things had to be in place to takeover/build a new one (if space allows).

Plus if we made different kinds of hideouts, like havens for pirates and strongholds for merchants, this would be a much better feature.
