Bury/Recover Treasure (Small)

Postby Mugiwara » Mon Apr 24, 2017 1:30 pm

"Who sail under black flag will recover or bury treasure with 50% less turn consumption. "

Reason of this suggestion:
after bank feature released burying or recovering treasure when you need to do became too expensive due to high turn cost compare to banks. which is biggest cons for pirates who want to sail black flag.

Any feedbacks will be appreciated.

It is not much of an advantage but due to the bank restriction could be seen by some as a needed relief.

I am one of the few I believe who still bury their treasure ;), as I don't use any bank their are few ways to store ones treasure.

This would be a welcomed change in my books!

+1 This would really help improve treasure hunting, right now its 'dead' however I have a question:

How can pirates (Under the black flag) get it 50% cheaper they have less crew, less trust in the crew(Looking at it historically) and did not have much land to stand on (Due to them being hunted.)

the decrease in turns is linked tonumber of crew members abandoned on the hiding place :)

Perhaps that can be a cost to this 50%? You need to hire and feed the crew in the hiding place?

Crew Needed: 50
Food per Week: 300

Affordable for pirates, and may add to what they 'can' lose; aka a trading fleet!

Trying to justify or discredit a suggestion based on real world references is not a good idea, in my opinion. Game mechanics should rather be debated on what consequences we believe they will have in the game, and whether or not those consequences are desired.
