Well, the Helm-Vudu war lasted only two days. As for the Merc-Ayes war, it lasted 16 days, but most of the action was hidden from view. There was some visible fireworks the first days, I guess, but for the most part, the action was of a kind which could not be seen by others - let alone such that others could profit from it (like they could during the first days). There WAS a lot of action, as those in Merc and Ayes know, but to bystanders it probably seemed like nothing much happened after the initial phase.

This in contrast to the "Danik/LT vs USA" war. It lasted a LONG time, and was waged partly in the forums, for everyone to see. Very entertaining, even for me, who was a relatively new player at the time.

I will say this now stock up with voodoo I can tell a storm is coming the guild wars that just ended were the storm clouds that come to pass eventually a war will only end when the server does.

Ah, so that was our failure then : we didnt provide enough entertainment for the masses : I feel dirty and ashamed now.

I will say this now stock up with voodoo I can tell a storm is coming the guild wars that just ended were the storm clouds that come to pass eventually a war will only end when the server does.

Yes, we probably should have yelled more at each other in the forums. Ah well, maybe next time.

Kudos to Avery for trying to get some of the visible action into print, though. I believe that made the war more interesting to some bystanders. Perhaps for our next war, the T'zak Ryn will have to embed a journalist among our ranks. Giving the very unbiased view as seen from our guild, of course.
