Flaming is expected here. If you are easily offended, avoid this thread all together.

Sorry in the future, when a relative dies. I will act like nothing has happened - Spend 24 hours on the game, recording every single detail on the war.

Finish off? Are you wanting players to quit over this? Are you wanting players to have nothing in the end (Ships/Voodoo)?

I do not think that any war in this game should come to this. Yes, war should cost you, it should cost both sides. But you should never want anyone to leave the game we love and play. We never want to completely Zero a player. At least I don't.

I would make them feel a heavy loss and be done. Move on, but make it known, that if you go to war with me, it will cost you.

I have not had the pleasure to be in a war (yet), but I hope that changes soon. :cannon

I am sorry that some seem to feel this war has lacked sufficient tittilation and excitement for the onlookers : alas, neither side had a duty to entertain or inform the expectant audience nor felt it necessary to do so : as with the sordid reality of actual war, its 99% boredom and 1% action : happily, in our wars nobody dies, or gets crippled or gets left behind : they also lack 24/7 rolling coverage from embedded reporters desperate to fill that upcoming slot.

If you truly want to observe the 'war experience', well, you will need to be in one : but be aware, if its not to your taste, there is no 'pause' button and a 'restart' is probably rarer than a true victory.

As always, be careful what you wish for.

yeah if you completely wipe a players gold out along with there ships then it takes them quite a while to recover but if you hit them and take maybe 25% of there gold and total ship value then they can recover remarkably quickly and then you can hit them again sooner for the same amount as last time.
