To the T'zak Ryn Guild and the citizenry of Avonmora.
For 16 days, Ayes of Avonmora and T'zak Ryn have traded thousands of voodoo between them.
There have been some heavy losses on both sides and a result of hundreds of millions of GC spent as a best loose estimate.

Aye's of Avonmora feel our point has been made that we do not accept random acts of aggressive plunder to go unanswered and the cost will be high for such actions.
Merc have repeatedly express their enjoyment and exchanges as well and seem to have developed a fond taste of blood.
In order to promote interest and satisfy a craving for war, I would invite any guild who feels restless or have a grudge to go ahead and attack the Merc guild at their leisure.
I personally feel the lack of revenue has taken a larger toll on MERC than it has on Ayes.
I have asked all Aye's membership to cancel any active voodoo against Merc but an exemption of our No Cast First policy shall remain in effect.

If Merc do not wish to end this little slinging match, Aye's shall meet the challenge with a renewed vigor now we have more regular attendance in our guild.

Everyone should understand that when attacked, retaliation is always an option. It should also be understood that if that retaliation is against the T'zak Ryn, it may become expensive. Sometimes we will not bother to reply, and just let it slide. At other times, the answer will be different. Only if you are truly prepared for war should you attack us. Whatever the reason.

To us, making this clear has been important. Yet, as the citizens of Avonmora have not seen the details of this conflict, we are unsure if the price to attack us is understood. Perhaps keeping Ayes from trading for a few more months is neccessary to make our point? We hope not, and will accept this plea for peace. Our extraordinary attacks against members of Ayes will be halted. Their traders can be restarted without more risk of being attacked than any other trader has.

As for the statement that lack of revenue has taken a larger toll on us than Ayes, I leave it to Avonmora to consider who has the highest trade income outside of wars. It should not be that hard to figure out who lost most from lack of trade. Also in total resources spent and lost, such expenses for Ayes exceed those of the T'zak Ryn. It may, of course, be argued that their resources are greater than ours, and so that they have spent a smaller percentage of their vast reserves than what we have. That is probably true. The T'zak Ryn has, however, also been able to continue our ordinary operations during the conflict. Sure, not with the same dedication and with the same effort as we ordinary do, but still.

Finally, this war has been very useful in explaining some of our members what a war can look like. Our members are not as experienced as those of Ayes, and several have never before seen a conflict like this. It has made it easier to make some members accept certain things we have been trying to explain. I like to think that we have learnt from this.

Oh, one more thing. I have registered in previous conflicts between others, a tone of bitterness between those involved. Harsh words. I have not seen any such things from the members of Ayes, and I respect them for that. Being polite, and able to chat nicely with one another despite fighting a war, is important in a game like this. If any of our members have not been equally polite, I apologize. I always ask them to be. The T'zak Ryn may steal your gold, sink your ships and kill your crew, but we will be polite while doing so! :-)

I won't doubt that it was interesting war, but why not finish each other off, now that is what i want to see. (I put my money on AYES will win)

Not trying to fan the flames of war but come on a full on guild war or any major war has not happened in a long time, and I know about 90% of Avonmora are going bloodthirsty right now!

It was my first experience witnessing a war, albeit from the outside, but I found it to be a bit stale.
