+1 for beginner mission

if it's increased to get others do these missions as well it would imo not be beneficial. wealth should be made through trade or plunder. to become a good trader one needs to use his wit to find profitable trade routes. just doing missions is not helping to develop trade lore

+1 For the general idea.

I agree to an extent with Maha. I think that it should be open to all players but depreciate in value the more times you complete the mission to prevent experienced players from using it for profit, and eventually depreciating down to maybe love interest for the Governor's Daugher/Son, instead of just a monetary value.

One could meet the governor and be asked something like:
 transport these 10,000 crates to the port of X in the next two hours and you'll grant a 50k gold for your effort
or
 we are in urgent need of cotton/iron/whatever, if you can manage to get it here in one hour I'll reward you with these 25k gold
 deliver this letter to the governor of port Y and I'll pay you 10k for your help
 trasport a full fleet of immigrants to our port and I'll order to deliver 500 crates of goods to your warehouse
 etc. etc.
and the mission would be renewed once completed.

While older players would probably think these are too cheap missions, I think this may help people at the beginning in exploring the map and having some gold to build the first ships.

You said these are daily missions for beginners. The missions state the they'll be delivering 10'000 crates how ever beginners will not have many ships on hand. Every beginner starts with one small ship little gold & resources. I think it would be better if the missions had fewer crates, until then -1

I think the the amount of things you need to transport and the reward should just go up by a % or a constant every time you complete it, and that it is endless.

Eg. At the start transport 50 creates of rum to XXX you get 1000GC.
And it increases at a constant of 50 creates and 1000GC every time you done it.

Eg. Battle ones would be like, attack 5 enemies of nation XXX and you get 10k.
The amount of enemies go up by 1 each and the money you get goes up by 5k every time you done it.

That makes sense but those base values will have to be higher. 1000gc is not even worth doing it. The current beginner quests pay significantly better than that.

Like Banger said current beginner missions pretty nice for newcomers. port missions purpose should be keep their attention and interest when they dont know what to do. thats why i suggested reward increase over time. it will add another nice aspect for players i believe.

i would not like the game to go this way; offering the simpleminded stuff to do. if players after they've done their missions don't know what they want to do then they probably have played the wrong game for them. this game excels in the setting your own goals and pursuing them. no matter how many missions you put in place, there will be a time that players have to venture away from them.

imo is a good guild the way to help new players to find out what they want to achieve in this game. endless mission with proud playes anouncing on FB that they reached mission 4565 sounds truly horrible to me!
