Official Proclamation

On this day, 191 of year 4. The United Kingdom hereby accepts the port of Seaglory as a gift from St. Kitts and Nevis.
All official rights and claims to the aforementioned port hereby belong to the United Kingdom, her ruler, council, and citizenship;
not withstanding any requirements or terms set forth within the document of release agreed upon by both the United Kingdom
and St. Kitts and Nevis. As the UK's first and only port within Avonmora, Seaglory will serve as our base of operations, physical presence
upon the map, and central trade point to effectively connect Britain and Avonmora commercially. For the reasons stated; we, the
council and citizens of Britain shall defend and protect Seaglory to the full extent of our power. Any hostile action taken against the
UK will be met with a quick and unforgiving response. The United Kingdom intends to prosper peacefully, with and along side the other
nations who lay claim to land within these islands. Should any undesirable situations arise in the future, the UK and her council will
work diplomatically to resolve such and will always first seek reasonable forms of resolution.

The United Kingdom is eager to continue building its economy and is looking forward to founding many new relationships with all
current nations, and those who are to join us in the future.

This is to serve as an official announcement on the behalf of the United Kingdom and its council. Our Ambassador was unable to spare the time due to a busy schedule so I have been asked to fill in.

With recent events the national right to ownership of Baramas has been unstable. Grenada's council has been dissolving slowly over the days and 2/3 of the primary contributors with a vested interest have either left the nation or the game. As many know, managing a port by oneself is impossible for most and difficult at best for a few. For this reason, the remaining 1/3 interested in keeping their investment in Baramas profitable and the future bright, they have made arrangements to join the UK and bring their port with them. This is a non aggressive port transfer and the parties involved have agreed.

The United Kingdom hereby claims ownership and all rights to Baramas. Her King, council, and citizens officially declare their intent to maintain, control, and defend the port against all would be aggressors.

Should there be any disputes they may be taken up with myself at this time, and I will see to it that our council is informed.

On Avonmora Day 1,797 a shift in the powers controlling the port of St. Martins has occurred. Largely as the result of one recent pirate joining the United Kingdom as a privateer for the crown. The UK council has decided to both accept and welcome the port and privateer to our nation. Similar to Baramas, as a nation we are declaring official claim and ownership over the port of St. Martins. With that, any and all hostilities against the port including the influence holders stationed there, will be treated as acts of aggression against Britain and will be dealt with accordingly.

As the controlling power in St. Martins we will discuss with the remaining pirates about lifting their blockade and allowing trade to return as normal. The port has seen many battles recently and the population has suffered greatly. It will be a long road to recovery, but one we willingly accept.

There may be questions about Britain's motives with the increased speed at which we have developed as a nation. I assure the nations around Avonmora, we have no aggressive intentions against any, and our recent acquisitions have been of the opportunistic nature. I welcome any message regarding such queries and will happily respond to them on the UK's behalf.

The recent assault of Black Deaths on the UK is quite troublesome and seemingly unfounded. To hide in secrecy is a pure act of destruction with no aim but costing everyone involved, even the attacker, gold, turns, and time. I would ask the aggressor to come forward and speak with us on reasonable terms to solve whatever hardship they feel the UK has imposed upon them. There is always a diplomatic solution and I am sure, with proper discussion, we can come to a resolution that serves both parties.

As the nation with the highest population count, its inevitable that the destruction of UK port populations will be a common mission for nation rank-ups : its damn annoying, expensive and irritating, but that goes with the #1 slot, alas.

I note Tokelau has overtaken your population count and so they will suffer the same problem.

These hits are not national rank missions. Unless 12-13 people all cast their mission BD's at the same time to drop us 1.1b 2-3 times in the last week, without counting all the other 500-600m drops, this is undoubtedly an aggressive assault. We have taken into account mission rank ups and those are easily managed. This is something else entirely.
