Excellent choices by the other captains. I can't help feeling that I should have selected those players quickly.
For my next two picks, I have lined up two players, strong in battle and fierce in their retaliation to attacks. Kart may have sold off his ships and be semi - retired but he still possesses massive wealth and a sizeable voodoo chest. As does ziggfried. I have not had direct communication with the latter but from what I know, he is not one to mess with.

After a long pause... Captain D leans forward and points to Mugiwara saying "I choose the new guy". This new player is eligible for the 11th slot "rookie" pick but I value his tenacity, energy and enthusiasm too much to wait on picking him. There be many an old salty sea dog in this draft but even they have no hope of matching Mugiwara's motivation to learn, adapt and succeed.

Leaning back, Captain D says with a calm yet firm voice, "I also choose Meliva". We need more than 1 player with a passion for glory, I've known Meliva for a little while now and I know the value of having a positive and thoughtful player among us.
