Before it's too late, I am going to donate a prize of 10 million GC to the 5 powder monkeys who are chosen.
I'll leave how the prize is split up to Shadowood.

Many of them are 'sleeper' warriors as mentioned before and their talents remain hidden to the masses.

The only downfall of the fantasy draft is the hidden talents true worth would not be recognized until the fantasy teams were able to go into the ring and actually battle it out.
Consequently, captains are faced with going for the players the general citizenry of Avonmora is familiar with if they want a chance to be voted the 'best' and may not actually get the most powerful combinations available to them.

Tis' one of the bigger challenges of being a captain. Many think its just throwing a dart at the top 20 list of fame or influence... Not the case at all. You have to have a clear plan/strategy of what type of team make up you want.. and then find Available players to fit the bill... THEN you need buy in from the community to see your vision to WIN.

All captains, Past and Present, have done a great job so far.

To further commentary, it's not just the biggest bank account or voodoo chest a player may have that makes them integral to the team but rather, how well participants can function as a team.
As many learn, turns available can be a major deciding factor in battle and everybody gets the same amount available to them for a small cost.
How well a team splits up the turns available to them I think would have a big impact on a teams power.

A thing that may have not come fourth except by one captain - survivability.

Some players may be excluded because their name on the rooster may be enough to trigger repeated battles

A lot of things make a team successful and the final judge will be all Avonmora.
Something that I learned in game is the value of leadership but also the mold of the team. The same player will perform differently under different leadership. So while a player would be an undisciplined rogue at one team, he could well be a diamond in another.

For a captain, it also plays a role to have backup players in mind for what you want to make. There are similarly styled players. The toughness is only when there is one such player of a style.

'RUM or CUSTARD?'

Round 4 wends it's weary way to completion : not unlike Captain Jack after a night in the stables, the Great Mighty Large and Massive Kraken Posse stagger and blink with bleary-eyed confusion : 'What? More choices?' : Kart, Roise, Lodswe, Shaydo : of what importance are these minor traders, shifters of goods, purveyors of trinkets, hoarders of gold and all-round dullness? What great feats can propel them even into the same cosmos as this rounds winner? For a giant walks amongst us : a god, a man with cojones so large, his knees havent touched each other since he was a babe : women want to be with him, men want to be him, donkeys tremble in meek anticipation of his incessant demands: Even the Kraken are jealous of his prowess, his bed-post notches, his cool, calm and damn hot demeanour : the Mighty Kraken grant unto this paragon of manliness the largest Barrel of Finest Kind Kraken Rum : my friends, avert your gaze for :

THE LOVETIGER

Okay, I copied out the letter you sent me, LT, had to correct the spelling and grammar too. Now will you destroy the negatives? Please? Oh, and the video's too.. all of them, yes, even the one with Captain Jack and the flatulent goose, that's got to go or he wont 'arrange' my battle wins anymore...

Danik unleashed! :)

There are still many good players left out. I can't see them all picked - not enough places.
