Building/Research Queue "Extended" (Small)

Building/Research Queue "Extended" (Small)

I think the option of building/upgrading one building and also researching a tech at the same time is great.

I would like to suggest that if a player has the funds and resources available, that he/she can place in the 2 queues more building/tech requests.

To clarify, NOT to have more then 1 building upgrade active at once and NOT to have more then 1 research active at once... simply to place more in the queue behind them if that player has the funds/resources to do so.

Would be nice to stack them. Don't have to burn turns to bring to time you need, or let buildings and techs stand idle.

There is a such a feature in some games. But i have never seen it free. mostly you will be available to use it as a part of premium packages. In current state well it would be nice to have it free but it will come with a cost. Still such a nice option to have. Because this game is a long run game. Time precious even a moment. Queuing will help to avoid some time loses.

Edit: Maybe some turn cost will be implemented instead of making this option to cost money. After all, in this game turns more important than money isnt it:)

Admins have this type of code already in place in their other space game "Zorg Empire". I bet they could implement it here fairly easy.

Edit - Actually that was one of my favorite features on that game... You could fill up your queue any way you wanted.

Lvl 1 Metal Mine
Lvl 2 Metal Mine
Lvl 1 Crystal Mine
Lvl 2 Crystal Mine
Lvl 1 Solar Plant
Lvl 3 Metal Mine.
ETC...

If you had the resources I could see this here.

Lvl 2 Workshop
LVl 1 Marina
Lvl 2 Marina
Lvl 2 Mansion
Lvl 3 Workshop

I +1 PHX's duplicate suggestion as well. A queue for Tech Research and Buildings should be an option. Possibly requiring the player to pay a one time fee to expand for each additional slot.
