Plato's Diologues

Postby sXs » Thu Mar 02, 2017 4:27 pm

I have done this in other game forums in the past and it seemed to stir some thought. Random thoughts or quotes from great thinkers of the past.

It may work here, It may not.....

Remember this

It was a wise man who once said.... "It was a wise man who once said....."

To Plato's definition of a man as an animal, bipedal and featherless, Diogenes ran into his academy, plucked a chicken, and declared, "Here is Plato's man."
To which Plato then changed his definition to "with broad flat nails.."

When Diogenes was invited to the house of Plato, he trampled upon his carpet, saying that he thereby trampled on the vanity of Plato.

That is Diogenes. The crazy cynic. - My favorite person in History. He even got captured by pirates!! Shame people overlook him and go to the people like Archimedes and Plato, they were not nearly as interesting. Atleast, I showed up in Dante's Inferno. No offense though.

A wise man once told me... He who stands on a toilet, is high on pot.
I don't fear death. I look forward to it with great anticipation. For then I will met God face to face and let him know that I stole his Man of War!!!
