Numbers at a Glance

You see these numbers every time you log into the game.

First I want to say to those Shipwreck Hunters out there! Great job of cleaning up the sea floor. I think that went a bit faster than most expected. CDV! Great job, way to put your already massive fleet to work. I could plunder 1,000 ships from you and you would still be solid.. (hmmm, idea!)

7.26 Billion population! This is no small number and in fact one of the largest its been in my time here (can anyone remember a time when it was larger then the 7.5 recently). To those nations who are investing in population, I salute you as it is an expensive task. To all you casting Black Death! Stop. LOL.

Last, 14,867 active players... Now we know that this number takes into account recent people who have joined and some who haven't stuck around to see how awesome this game really is... But this number is one of the highest that I have seen since I started. When I started a year ago, it was around 12,500 and hovered around there for a bit before dropping to 11,000... maybe even less. So hats off to ADMIN for the recent push. I don't know if you did some advertising buys with all the money PHX has given you, but great work on getting new blood into the game. There are some quality new players who are sticking around and it shows.

Looking forward to the new proposed game updates to make this game even more exciting. :pc

Definitely we have a lot of new players. But we could have more. Due to lack of training guilds most of them wouldnt even had a chance to stay in this game and know it better.

I first started to play 1553 Avonmora's day. Finished a few missions stocked a few resources. Attacked a few npcs. after a few hours seek for guild to complete my mission but couldnt find one. Because i didnt know how to do it exactly. Tried to apply a few of them and after an hour no reply. So simply i quit to play.

And 1557 Avonmora's day. I said give it a one more chance. Because i was desperately looking for a pirate theme game. Started again did same mistakes but less, same missions just had only 1 difference than my first attempt. It was Lodswe's guild invitation message. When i saw it i surprised. For most of the games i played its not easy to join a high ranked guild. I didnt know in this game there was a training type guilds. After that they teached me danger system and basics. And answered any questions i asked to them. Thanks to my guild members now im playing this game.

Im just trying to say we should give that chance to newcomers. At least they should have a chance to try this awesome game. I believe with enough training guilds and enough support, in a year we will have 2X more than current active playerbase maybe even more. Which will lead more pop more actions more shipwrecks more fights. We will find our desired actions with more players.

PS: Sorry I ruined your topic.

Sincerely Mugiwara...

From the perspective of a newer player I would agree that the invite to SSAA kept me in the game. If I had not received the invite I may have become bored and quit (if nothing else because I didn't understand how important a guild would be to learning and enjoying the game).

Active recruiting by guilds (even before the player is looking) would help retain new players- it kept me around. :)

Not sure why you are singling me out but if you are saying I paid for a lot of credits you are relatively wrong. At least 2 thirds of my credit came from card and ship market. Plus we know some players who buy and don't shy about it :)
You should try it when you have a salary and support the game :p

Just picking on you PHX. ;)

In all honesty I would say with the influx of new players and some crazy market activity, it seems like more players in general have supported the game. No way to confirm of course, but this is a great thing if it's happening

I've been here a week and dropped 10-15 bucks. If a game is good enough that it intrigues me, I usually like to throw a little something at it for support purposes.

I really hope that this game continues to gain some traction and the population of active players continues to rise. I enjoy the game a lot but it would be great if there was more activity so those plunder boards would stay full! I would spend more money buying credits for turns if I could stay busy!

Some attack for fun some for profit others to get rid off extra turns but most wage profit reward vs lose that's why most plunder boards are empty

Take those credits and stock up on FoJ! Cast on PHX, Black Sparrow, and CDV... You will have all the action you can handle! :P

He will need a lot more serenity than FoJs.
