Stepping Down

I never like goodbye threads. For many reasons.

This is however not a goodbye thread as most of the people who post here, treat it. If I am wrong, PhoenixKnight can correct me.

I will still be around but I will not actively pursue maintaining these spots anymore.

It seems to me that PhoenixKnight has decided to let everyone know that his (titanic, agreed) run at the top has came to an end for him. I can imagine how tedious it is to hold the top spots at all fronts and for such a long time, so it seems only reasonable to me.

From there after, it is one thing stopping the run to be number 1 at the statistics and another retiring from the game.

My 2 cents - I read the whole message, not just the title.

CJ, you are correct. What I am saying is I am not going to hold the top positions any longer. I will still play the game and help people grow and I think it is time I let others shine. I have set a good record in the game and that is good enough for me.
To be honest, I expected Shadowood, Valar or Avery to take me down before I make the decision to step down.

Thank you all for your kind words. As usual, if you need help or just want to talk, feel free to PM me when I am on. I won't be on as I used to since I am letting go quite a bit ( a downside of being a competitive).

reading this thread along with other threads like it make me think that the older longer term players are stepping down to let newer players take there spots and with phx stepping off his massive leads on others it makes me think that if you play too often you might as well be burning yourself out of the game. just like ive done with plenty other games.
