I got the idea of activatable tech from a post PK made.

prize is too high.
With %22 discount
Total Cost for 1 Captain from 1000 to 1001 is 9,881,109
Total Cost for 1 Admiral from 200 to 201 is 4,445,479
Total Cost for 1 Merchant from 200 to 201 is 2,222,739

it would be useful when you cant find bribes but with your suggested prize its not worth it. lower the prize and make its prize more based on time consumption. that way it could have some usages.

but the prize is more than buying it from officer tab. also randomness makes it even more expensive. i dont havemuch time to make a expand calculation for it. but i like the idea. make its cost more based on time.

Btw do you need to pay the prize every two days? or is it one time

One time, this is why I said it maybe too cheap.

The original req the player to pay everytime he use this, but I was too lazy to add that so I just left it.

This is to show that its possible to have tech that you can activate every once in a while.

i misunderstood the concept. in my opinion it should have a flat amount of cost for each activation and maybe %1 increase for every activation. i like the idea just need to find a reasonable system and prize for it.

That would be very similar to buying captains normally. And we already HAVE a tech to make that cheaper.

This technology is far too similar, and adds nothing new. Better to come up with actually new concepts for technologies.
