Old Ship of the Line For Sale!

Postby Shadowood » Fri Jan 27, 2017 10:40 pm

I came into possession of a very old Ship of the Line, off a very old pirate [Silver Fox #24]

Now I don't know the full story of this ship, but I am sure it has seen years of action. Its not 60ATT but I have it listed for 400 Credits on the market right now, simply do to its age. Talking with Black Sparrow, there are not a lot of these big ships with lower IDs out there.

Happy Bidding!

Indeed, it is an aged beastie : not the oldest though : I vaguely recall seeing one in the 4k range, but I might have been drunk. I do own one older than this one and even more feeble. I wonder which was the first SotL built in Avonmora, and what of its fate?

One small question : how does it manage to fit 80 crates of cargo into its holds?

Those are donkeys that are on the deck but their packs are loaded with gold.

-no clue really. Didn't even notice it till you mention it.

I have found quite a few ships that were holding more cargo than their cargo hold capacity.
My best guess is that perhaps admin reduced the cargo ratings at some point, and ships sunk before this point are still holding more cargo
than is currently allowed for that ship type.

I also have a ID 2xxx SOTL that my salvage team pried from the Neapolis Abyssal Trench. It has found a life of comfort in my finest marina slip,
as it awaits its journey to my shipwright for a full restoration. Sadly, not knowing its value, the salvage team drank the priceless vintage rum that was still in the cargo hold.

I don't remember the storage of sotls ever changing. Are there gold bars aboard?
