(Uncommon) Distraction

Do you have an idea for a card ? Do you want a tweak on existing voodoo cards? Perhaps you even want one of them removed? This is where you can post your suggestion.

I made it uncommon so that people can use it more often and not, as a last resort.

As it only works for one fleet, if the attacker would keep attacking the wrong fleet, maybe he shouldn't be attacking anymore for that raid.

A card with this kind of power should be rare or legendary and definitely be a last resort for use on your valuable fleet for protection. I am with DezNutz on this one.

Very nice concept and great Idea for a card. My vote is in favor should it be moved to Legendary rarity.

I guess, everyone wants legendary voodoo.

I am kinda in favor of this staying uncommon because it would require some investment of startegy and not just casting FOJ 15 seconds before top of the hour and gaining millions on any decent developed merchant...

How does rarity affect the FoJ before the hour strategy? This card targets one feet, so unless you plan on having 100's of these and keeping them up 24/7 an FoJ on the hour raid for GC wont matter..

This is a card to protect a valuable war fleet not all your traders.

If I am missing something please explain.

It was made for both, it gives minor protection to merchant fleets, even with 3 cast, the attacker would gain danger if when ever he hit the wrong one.

As it only last for 6 hours, war fleets can never use this for too long.

This can also stack on one fleet, so you fleet can have more and people will not take the risk of attacking the wrong one.

If only one cast, a 50/50 chance is made, the attacker may take the chance. Or not.

So if you are to use 3 on a few merchant fleets or 3 on a warfleet. Both have their up and downs.

I also know that people will plan on spaming this, so I also made the turn cost, high.

There are fleets that I would like to protect and there are those that if I can't I won't be upset but this card if it is uncommon and available to the guild members I assume that others would be able to cast it. Would give some meaning in being in guild that cares about their members and yes it seems like OP twoards pirates but isn't OP twoard merchants that they can be litten up and raided no matter how good teamwork is in guild. Pirates like to make comments how things are easy for merchants but they denied that they have easier way to achieve gold than merchants. Someone will say cost of FOJ well where is cost of comapnies card or we will ignore that those cards have price aswell...

So say you use 3 on 3 different trade fleets, that gives 3 duplicate feets floating about. As wolfie's point suggested well established merchants that leaves another 40+ fleets mixed in with the 3.. again a raid on a merchant for GC using foj on the hour that small bit of Danger won't make a difference. They are going into the raid knowing they will come out with high danger. This card won't do much for raids like that. However cap ship raids, thats a different story. Those involve planning and turn allocation for the job, some duplicate fleets could bugger that up if done right. Costing the attacking millions.

Still sticking with the idea this needs to be Legendary.

If it is legendary than it should affect all fleets because it will require hideout, turns, ingrdients and resources to be made for affecting 1 fleet that is to weak for legendary card

Yeah, if its gonna become legendary, it should effect all fleets.

And that would be even better.

That would definitely be a great card and I wouldn't disagree with it... so long as attacked decoys are removed from the plunder board as their "danger" would be removed like any normal fleet. Otherwise this is an instant raid ender every single time it is used.

One card on a 40 fleet merchants effectively adds 40 decoys. Now it really is 50/50 and twice the turns used and danger gained.

Of course it is they act as real fleet only difference they are duds whom can't sail and can't attack. But that is only if it is legendary and it affects all the fleets. And of course option for others to be able cast it. It would then give chance for guild to act as a guild...
