Enchanted by Mermaids

Your sailors are enchanted by mermaids and your fleet gets stuck near a port,
The distraction of the crew prevents natural danger drop, Dangerous shoals start
causing ship damage, You can't stop looking at the mermaids and are having trouble casting voodoo.


Enchanctment
Duration: 4 hours

Affects 1 fleet only
maximum cast 2 per victim per 24 hours

Recipe

6 hn
1 foj
1 disfavor
1 confuse
3 swarm of worms


Effect -

No natural danger drop - for duration of cast

+ 24 damage per hour - for duration of cast

Ship cannot depart from current port for duration of cast

Traveling ship will remain lit in port of departure and arrival - for duration of cast.

Affected by confuse - for duration of cast


Attacks from opponents ships will cause danger drop

If you have crew as a battle component -
you lose -5 crew to mermaids every hour as they jump into the sea to swim away with the mermaids.
limit cannot drop below 15 crew

Turns to cast :45

Craft time 72 hours

i like the name:D even im a bit disappointed when i saw the details:) it doesnt mean details bad my expectations was bigger:)

i suggest add some domestic problems.
problems that only rubies can solve


I actually think that is a good idea. It certainly makes sense.
however as this is mostly for going after warships, I don't think it improves the card.

Interesting to think of that cards could have minor side affects besides their intended use.
I would say why not. If anyone else thinks that it should have that side affect I will consider adding it.

The strongest effect of this will be the confuse effect. Simply because it is NOT confuse, and therefore will stack with it. Combine this card with an ordinary confuse with "avenge" against a solitary player, and he'll have a REALLY hard time.

Also, I think we should stay away from killing crew.

Admins once said that they don't want to kill crew also as it was mentioned confuse effect making it little OP if both confuses are possible either make it that regular cofuse isn't castable or discard confuse from this card

I said that effect would make it powerful. Not necessarily TOO powerful. That's a matter of price :-)

I will say the CJ has confirmed the possibility of Killing Crew in the future. Not just with Voodoo, but with Ship Specialization.

I for one am an advocate of such an effect, WITH limits. Never being able to kill the entire crew and leaving the ship still sail-able.

I have nothing aggainst killing crew I need to use those lazy bastards who drink in tavern because I can't find enough captains... I am just on the -1 side because of confuse part... with this raiding and taking ships will be just war of voodoo and not art of planning and preparing.

I am against card recipe concept. I will agree to it if there is a card like Gris Gris created for it or there is a witch cauldron that you can build to mix those cards and create new ones.
