there is a division between the 'have' and 'have not's, those who have not covet the haves, think it is great and want it without having going all the way. The haves see that what they've labored for is devalued (you can get the goodies without all the hard work if only those others would be nice) and think it is a no-brainer, they won't share.
in a (for some) ideal world all resources would be shared among all. the miner doesn't mind ruining his health in a dark, dangerous and dusty environment for the betterment of society and likewise the trauma doctor is happy to work twice as long as other people for the same idea. youth, who know that no matter what profession they end in are eagerly studying long hours to take responsible jobs that are nessecary, but takes them away from friends and family. all, white, blue, no collar workers earn the same income and aren't jealous of the amount of work the other does or the work environment. In such a world, those who have will share resources willingly to those who don't want to go all the way to get those resources. However, As i wrote before, avonmora is basically the ultimate capital paradise. work hard and you'll succeed in making the less succesful envious.
in RL i am neither communist or capitalist, but i do keep myself responsible for my level of succes and don't blame the 'world, system, .... (fill in your favorite sob) for failing to be successful instantly.
i recently read an article that stated that millennials are over protected so that their feelings are not hurt. bars are lowered, even the last in a sport event gets a medal, marks are inflated and are overloaded with affirmative praise because these kids could get a negative self image when they fail at something. this suddenly ends when they get there first job. they believe that they will make a huge impact (somehow) and find out that they actually have to succeed to keep their job! ouch! someone (the supervisor/boss) is not interested in their 'great ideas' while they cannot deliver the required result in the given time.
These kids are not to blame, they are raised that way by parents and pedagogues who have forgotten how reality works.
this game, represents RL in many ways. work hard, be smart, learn from the more experienced and eventually you will get somewhere. it's easy for me to identify millennials on the forum, they complain, rant and admit that they lack the stamina to put in the effort to get somewhere. i hope that this game will help them to do better in RL; you are not special, you deserve nothing but with great effort and endurance you will be able to achieve something in the end.
