Heroes clean toilets and work three jobs to feed their kids without ever being noticed, or expecting to be.

Tax cuts for the wealthy and deregulation gave us an economic collapse.

People without jobs but have a $30k sports car say there are no jobs. Every report from farmers so there is a labor shortage, but Americans are soo far above doing labor work. People used to do what must be done, now they think they can hire someone to do it while they wait for something better.

And then we want to deport everyone who is "taking American jobs," or labor intensive jobs that no one really wants to do.

and that is how I make my living. My business, everything I do, the people that work for me...do what others don't want to do. We take pride in it.

A rapper wears $1000 jeans with paint stains or worn out. We generate $10,000 doing that to good jeans. The problem is the priority. Working class people are not en vogue. Labor unions are garbage honestly, but the alternative....thank them for 40 hours a week and not being in a shop, locked in for 16 hours a day.

It's said that doesn't work, but let me tell you this. It doesn't work in this self centered narcissistic society at all.

It does work when people think outside themselves a little. Some will take advantage...I would rather be taken advantage of by some then those that truly need go without.

both me and my father have known some great Mexican workers in our lives. me and him agree that on the whole they are VERY hard working people . he still remembers how he hired a few young Mexican men to retile our roof, and they finished in 2 days, despite how much work was needed to do it. and yeah carlin is a great comedian, I also like Bo Burnham, and his comedy. as for socialism, I am not very knowledgeable on it, but odds are it has its pros and cons like all forms of government. I wont act like capitalism and democracy are perfect systems, the sad fact is that all forms of government are prone to corruption. always going to be people out there who throw others under the bus to boost themselves.

Which-ever form of government exists, the state apparatus itself becomes a self-serving entity : its main priority becomes its own existence and strength : it inevitably attracts people to work in it and support it who become equally self-serving as it rewards their service and support : after that, each system creates its own rationale to deal with dissidence : from the 'anti-wealth creators' to the 'running dog lackeys' : to oppose the existing system is equated with irrational thought and evil intent. Both use the same tricks : divide and rule, the creation of the 'bogey-man' who threatens YOU thus you consent to it 'defending' you with laws and discrimination. Race is the oldest card in that book, religion not far behind that, often the two get conjoined : they are the 'others' who will come and steal your food, your work, your home, your life.
Its all a mirage, a con : slaves dont create slave labour : slave owners do : low paid workers dont create low paid jobs : employers do : society, and the governing forces in it, creates the conditions in which workers have to accept low paid jobs : how many of your school friends stated their aim in life was to earn minimum wage stacking Wallmark shelves to then live out their unproductive lives on food stamps cos Wallmarks found some-one else forced to work for less than minimum wage?

If I may make a comment on socialism...

Democratic socialism is the foundation of many of European countries.

Bernie Sanders was/is a Democractic Socialist.

Ask a trump supporter though, and Sanders is "a commie."

The spectacular hypocrisy of it all, of course, is that if Bernie had won the white house and was shown to have had ties with former Communists in the Russian Military, can you imagine the "red baiting" that would ensue? How the right wing in this country (USA) would have literally lost their minds?

But somehow, when the Orange Menace is shown to have deep and lasting ties to Russia (motive explained here: http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow/watc ... 3063747565 ), these same people are rushing to his defence.

I have made peace with a post-fact world. I cannot with a post-reason one.
